The FReeper Canteen is asking all FReepers to please keep 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub in your prayers.
He has suffered a massive stroke and heart attack.
We know that many of you will have questions, but as of right now we don't have any further information.

Tonk, we need you and pray for your healthy recovery.
John Kerry has been acting up again, and we need your marksmanship to blast him out of the water… again. We are understaffed without you.

My sister-in-law had this happen during chemo, and she did recover from the stroke and continued to go into a temporary remission. So, there is still hope. Prayers always help.

UPDATE: Medically Tonk is having a very rough go of it. As most know went back to Portland VA for a transfusion on Monday morning. While there he became disoriented and adgitated and his BP escallated. In concern for his heart they kept him and he remains there at this time. They have ordered and run EEGs to see if there is any seizures (which evidently are not uncommon in stroke victims).
FAMILY UPDATE: Please continue praying. Brian is not out of the woods by any means. When I talked with him Monday (on his way out the door for his
transfusion) he sounded the best he'd been in many many days, his old self and right there with me. After his move he has slipped back into his fog and is hard to 'reach'. The old salt is not having a great time of it and I know he does not like the position he's in.
