That was a great speech very Pattonesque. I heard a lot of background chatter sounded like someone said that they could not let you speak. Very Mao of them.

I was out on the corner on Saturday doing the pro-troop thing, and a Marine Mom stopped to thank me. I asked her to tell her son "Theank you and Semper Fi" from me. "Oh, she said, "you're a Marine?"
"No, I was Air Force, but I have a great deal of respect for the Corps." I was flattered. I must have been standing reeeeal straight. :-)

I just listened to the audio and there seems to be some attempts to either shut you up or interrupt you and get you off track, i.e. "Excuse me sir!" Am I correct and if so can you elaborate?

Brilliant work, takoma! Has Michelle Malkin linked it yet? I hope it goes around the world, so everyone can see the difference between their huddled masses and our proud patriots.

Most Marines take that kind of kidding with good natured humor. I had one former Marine tell me recently that the Marines are a department of the Navy - the mens department. They give as good or more than they take. And if not for the United States Mariens, a lot of us would not be here today.

Did they? I hardly noticed. I was on a roll.
And of course, having Major Pain helped.
If you watch the video (gotta send tgslTakoma the original audio, without the long pauses edited out) you can see one of them start to follow me, and I just walked him straight into Pain. I didn't realize at the time how beautifully it worked out, but watching it on the video is knee-slapping funny.

"Goodnight, ladies."Come, now, LT...there's no need for name-calling. No doubt the Pinko womyn were most offended.
If that is what you think supporting the troops means -- turn your backs on them when they come to talk to you -- then you are either a fool, a coward, or a hypocrite.
God bless you. Thank you (and Major Pain) for shining light on the lefties' duplicity.

Absolutely wonderful job. As usual, though, it fell on deaf ears. It's all about them, you know, not the brave troops inside. They have more courage in their boot laces than these cowards.

Citizen SMASH -
You sure spanked those PINKOs, honey!
It was a pleasure seeing you in action and an honor to meet you.
GO SMASH! Go PAIN!
(The only thing missing is the sweet sound of Citizen PAIN's air horn)
Cheers - Dinah
(PS. Don't be fooled - those honking car horns on the audio were in support of your FReepers not the pathetic pinko hags. By my observation we outgunned them by at least 15 to 1 on that score. Bwa-ha-ha-ha!)
