Frankly, I think that monkey would do a better job as Senator. The monkey would definitely be more interesting to listen to make speeches.

TMT = too much trouble, plus the potential for monkeying around. Either something stuffed and mounted is to be used, or, still better, a spherical cactus of imposing size [say, 2-3 feet in diameter]. The only expense would be custodial - to water the thing and to sweep out the cobwebs. And has anyone ever heard of a corrupt cactus?
