Oh YUCK, lol! I am a Texan and voting for Perry, but just because he is it. If we had a better Conservative running I'd vote for him but we only have Perry. I met him last year and he seems like he is pretty nice though.

...heh..lotsa luck...ever since Rick showed what a total buffoon he is a while back by 'playing' drums in his pajamas at a Led Zeppelin concert, I just cant seemt to intellectually justify supporting him....and I have been active in conservative Texas politics for over 30 yrs....including as a Congressional nominee here in the 18th District in 1974...I want serious people representing my conservative views in Austin....not clowns...

"I'm trying to locate fellow conservatives who support Rick Perry."

Once I figure out how to pay the new "business" tax, and find enough change (or hundreds, actually) for his toll roads, I'll get back to you.

Where, exactly, are you having to pay for "his toll roads?"

Im disappointed in Perry in how he dealt with the Katrina invasion, but he will still get my vote.

I wouldnt vote for anyone named Kinky just on principle.

Probably have better luck posting this on the Texas State board which will let those that are on the board see your request.

Yeah, we are striking out this election in that respect.

Perry is as sharp as a sack of wet mice, Grandma is certifiable. Kinky is, well himself and Chris Bell is a liberal democrat.

I think I will write in Mickey Mouse.

I moved here two years ago...a staunch Republican...still so...however my wife and I both will probably vote for Kinky this November simply because Rick Perry has shown us NOTHING as a leader nor visionary.

By the by, Highway 121 was initially planned NOT to be a toll road, and beginning September 1st, plan to PAY UP!!!

I am voting for Kinky hoping that his idiocy will freeze Texas Government for a spell. That's the best to be hoped for in this election. Perry is just another Bushlite big government spender.

How did we come to this mess?

I'm a conservative, I'm for Perry, and I'm a GOP precinct chairman here in North Texas.
And I'm not giving out my e-mail address; you can PM me here.

Your comments show a fundamental misunderstanding of how the office of the governor works here.
We don't have what you'd call a "strong governor" system.

BTW, how do you think we got our congressional delegation re-apportioned?
Or did that happen before you got here?

Okay, how is a "weak governor" Kinky going to effect any thing a Republican legislature churns out?
