Yes I trust these numbers... :p
Who the he** believes this? Just another trumped up poll.
Where did they do this poll? DU and Kos?
"The corporation polled 1,047 adult Americans by telephone"
Still don't see how you can conclude from 1,000 what 200 Million think.
We're so full of sh*t we can't think straight.
Bravo Sierra.
Once again, the old Vietnam "hawk/dove" dichotomy in which all who disagree with the tactics are labeled "doves," even though HALF of them want a MORE AGGRESSIVE pursuit of military victory. I guarantee if you break down those "opposed" numbers, you'll find half of them only "oppose" it because they think we should be doing MORE to win, such as dealing with Iran and Syria.
"In the most recent poll, 36 percent said they were in favor of the war -- half of the peak of 72 percent who said they were in favor of the war as it began."
Then.. "Sixty-one percent, however, said they believed at least some U.S. troops should be withdrawn from Iraq by the end of the year."
But the headline reads "60 percent of Americans oppose Iraq war"
Those are responses to two different questions. Media mischief.
I'm sure a lot has changed in the last 24 hrs.
That poll was prior to todays events. It is a whole different ball game now.
People are tired of the length of the war so far.
They don't feel the benefit of having moved Saddam out of there.
They are not so sure the Iraqi people deserved our efforts when you look at the type of government they want to have.
There was WMD found, but not on the scale people expected, though it could have been moved to Syria.
And just how did they word this poll? LOL
Yeah, I believe it. sarcasm
I wonder how those same people would answer today?
First, this is nothing but the usual tripe.
Even if they were correct, and their not, what would be the alternative? Let them cut off our freaking heads, give them our Country.......live like those bugs do???
Idiots...... just more idiotic garbage from the traitors on the left.
What a flat out lie of a headline.
Saying "some troops should be brought home this year," is nowhere near opposition to the Iraqi war.
Some could be two.
Some could be December 31.
Some could be brought home and MORE sent back.
I think this poll shows rather incredibly high support for the war. 35 percent say none should be brought home. Bush and other generals have expressed confidence that some troops will be brought home this year but all have reasonably asserted that they will not be tied to time tables.
I think the Peace Industrial Complex is beginning to collapse.
I wasn't polled. Poll every single American and see what you get.
What do you expect from a poll commissioned by the Communist News Network.
Pollsters give their customers the results they want or they don't get rehired.
Nobody polled me.
Am I on the "do not poll list", or is this just typical MSM BS.
it's like getting all hysterical because most muslims say they are muslims first, citizens second. heck, i'm a Christian first, citizen second too. it all depends on how you word the questions.
