Unfortunately, there are Iranians who are not complacent, or supportive of this nut job.

We are obliged to consider their lives and well being even as we consider methods and mechanisms for undermining, and/or eliminating those who are fermenting tyranny among one of the most ancient Civilizations.

If we had threaded these "needles" we would still be fighting Imperial Japan. We saved lives by holding the nation responsible for the actions of it's leader. Whether the population is complicit or not, it is still responsible. You delude yourself into thinking that we are so powerful that we can afford to be judicious. I am afraid you both overestimate our power, and underestimate the threat.
