"How does 23 tons compare to a typical load?

A "typical" 500 pounder (1/2 ton), will absolutely ruin any plans you've made for the day....even while hiding in the basement of a masonry structure.

A "typical" 2000 pounder (1 ton), will reduce most of that masonry house and it's nearby neighbors to rubble -- and provide an excavation suitable for the next tenants swimming pool..

A 23 Ton explosion -- does the same to the entire freaking neighborhood for BLOCKS in every direction...<> Whoever or whatever was under the 23 Tons, but have really pissed of some Jews...
