Just saw on CNN that 23 tons of explosives were dropped on a Hezbollah bunker. Top Hezbollah officials are believed to have been inside.

I was citing a typical single pass load....
I think you can get 3 (maybe 4) Mark 82's (#500ea) on each hardpoint)
That's 12 bombs = 6000# of ordnance on one jet...
Flight of 4 yields 24,000#...
Then you can shuffle the math for 1000# and 2000# LGB's --
Likely one per hard point...
Makes each jet at least 4000# of PRECISION death and destruction...
With two divisions.... 8 planes.... easy with air supremacy... big guided booms...
Add a few special ops guys with a laser designator -- or even substantially accurate GPS fix....
It all landed right in the bad guys' hip pocket....

Those sound about right. It wouldn't take very many sorties to drop the reported tonage if they used BDU's, or BLU 116's or simular. Plus they are guided which reduces collateral damage, something Pro Pali media will NEVER report. Just like they never report the provocation that led up to Irseal's reponse, like the 800+ missles fired on Israel since Jan/06. Media, want's to say it's only because of a few kidnapped Israeli soldiers.

Greg Palkot on Fox reporting this now, from Beiruit. Confirming that IDF said 23 tons of explosive. Said Greg: "We first hear a very loud explosion, followed shortly by a VERY loud explosion, then an EXTREMELY LOUD explosion - the site hit was six miles from where I was."
