I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.

I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.

I always found MASH (the film) to be incredibly unfunny and I couldn't understand anyone who thought it was funny.

When the Academy Awards dress up a bunch of dancers like stereotypical whores and pimps, it's art. If a fraternity and sorority have a party involving the same costumes, it's the most racist thing of all time.

I haven't seen any of the movies...and I haven't watched the Academy Awards in years, BECAUSE it is all about the stars patting themselves on the back..

BUT, I am "newsed" out...all bad news, all the time. UGH.

I agree. These folks are totally disconnected from the people. I haven't heard a word of thanks for our Soldiers, not just in the ME but all over the world who make it possible for these people to do what they do.
