Slovak abortion move worries EU

Maybe the EU should start to worry about its vastly declining birth rates rather than butt its nose into a country whos not even a member. The population of some EU countries (like Spain) will drop by a half even generation.

But Professor Olivier De Schutter, the head of the panel of lawyers from the EU Network of Independent Experts on Fundamental Rights, says the articles relating to religious conscientious objection raise the most concern. He said it was "far-reaching, considering a very large majority of healthcare providers in Slovakia are Catholics and might exercise their right to conscientious objection".

And we have learned from Marx and the rest of the jack bootted statists that one must must subsume his indivdual rights and freedom of conscience to better the state. Perfectly understandable.
