Illinois Leader has ceased to exist. Don't believe me? Visit IllinoisLeader.com. It appears blank.

Dang! This is a loss for all of us at Free Republic and Illinois conservatives. At least we've still got ReaganReview.com.

Looks like they may just be having a technical problem.

No the guy that created Illinois Leader says it's gone for good. He's in debt from it.

I visited GM.com once, and it was blank. I thought General Motors had ceased to exist - turns out the web site was just temporarily down. Me and my buddies had a good laugh about it. Well, they did, anyway.

Too bad.I have posted opinions from that site from time to time.I noticed earlier this month that they had stopped updating around Oct.15th.

They had done some interesing articles about the connection between a trucking scandal and Rahm Emanuel,IIRC.

Using Google, I managed to get to a news page there. The most recent story was dated October 16, so it looks like it's been moribund for about a month.

The site's home page shows a banner, but that's it.

Looks like he's dead, Jim.

I'm going to have a hard time missing something I never knew existed. There's too much information out there.

How was the site setup? i.e forums? lots of graphics? Was it so popular it cost him money?

I don't see how you can go broke running a website unless you have an incredible amount of throughput, something on the order of 500 GBS or more.- Tom
