Opposing lawyers share thoughts on Schiavo case
Palm Beach Daily News ^ | October 1, 2005 | Michele Dargan

The only issue that David Gibbs can ever remember Jesse Jackson and Rush Limbaugh agreeing on was the fact that Terri Schiavo should remain alive.

...

Gibbs called removing Schiavo's feeding tube "barbaric and uncivilized." Florida law does not allow the starvation of animals and the constitution does not allow the starvation of convicted murderers, he said.

...

Felos said faith-based organizations, religious leaders, priests and rabbis distorted the facts in the Schiavo case.

It is tough to read anything about Peter Singer, but he sings so much on this topic he begs to be understood for what he is.

Singer's point is clear -- a dog that is able to communicate in a rudimentary way is superior to a human infant who lacks an equal ability to communicate.

Singer sings

Singer, Ronald Crandford, and George Felos are cut from the same cloth. They want to exterminate disabled and vulnerable people with disabilities.

http://www.northcountrygazette.org/articles/102205CristsJudge.html Crist's Deputy AG, Key Player In Schiavo Case, Appointed Judge

PINELLAS COUNTY--A key player in the Terri Schiavo right-to-life case, heard in the Pinellas County courtroom of Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge George W. Greer, will now be sitting on the bench in that same courthouse, having been appointed to a new judgeship earlier this month by Gov. Jeb Bush.

SAD NEWS FYI: Cheryl's mom passed unexpectedly while hospitalized due to her recent car accident in Vegas. May she rest in peace.

NORTH COUNTRY GAZETTE: http://www.northcountrygazette.org/articles/102205Battaglia.html

Battaglia Firm Strengthens Influence In Pinellas Courts ST. PETERSBURG--In a closely-watched case in Florida involving charges of political influence and judicial corruption, Tampa attorney Mark A. Adams has charged that principals in the politically-connected, high-powered law firm of Battaglia, Ross, Dicus and Wein of St. Petersburg have allegedly bragged about the influence they wield in the Florida court system.

FV SAYS: (friends of mine tried to work at this St. Pete law firm but left voluntarily.) Pinellas County is the true capitol of the United States because this is where the money is.

FV asks: Is Jeb Bush feeling guilty so he reformed Florida's broken Medicaid system? I think so. This is why Jeb is not going to run for President. He would be labelled as part of a death care system that is run in his state. It's part of his legacy that an innocent woman was starved and dehydrated to death while leaders hid.

Oh I'm so sorry for Cheryl and her family. How sad. I know it is hard. I lost 2 grandfather's this past year as most of you are aware. I pray for her family that they will lean on each other during this hard time.

Cheryl Ford's mother passed away approximately a week after a car accident in Vegas.

Anyone wishing to lv condolences, pls email her from her page for Terri.

(and it's unimportant but I just received notification about her book via email).

Cheryl loved going to Vegas to visit her mom. That's where Cheryl met Wayne Galley, the musician who did the CD for Terri. "I Live, I Love, I Breathe the Air." www.prolifemusic.com or something like that. Just some trivia from last year.

ATTENTION FREEPERS: I am busy with the new kitten, FEMA, whom I rescued before Wilma. If I'm not here, I'm calling FEMA. (get it?)

Secondly, the Dirty Laundry Thread on CRIST, RICE and other politicians who we want to send to the private sector will be going until the September 2006 Primary. However, in spite of little FEMA, if I get any new dirt on CRIST, FORMER PINELLAS SHERIFF EVERETT RICE, JIM KING, etc., I'll bump Dirty Laundry which is in chat.

More dirt is on the way because now I hear that Crist is against abortion but OBVIOUSLY, he's not pro-life because he never investigated Terri's neglect and abuse and CRIST LIED about not seeing any DCF Complaints.

I called John Carassas' office right before he became Crist's AG out of Tampa. He's in Court Documents because the local boys talked about Terri w/him which violated her PRIVACY RIGHTS.

Terri's privacy rights were only upheld when they wanted to MURDER HER. When they wanted to talk about her at the ballgame, that was o.k. All of these judicial appointments in the 6th Circuit may be rewards for helping Florida's death care system bump off Terri, who was only 42 years old.

Terri was tortured until dead. Whatever you happened to see, we also have Terri's exit protocol but killing someone for someone else is ugly, no matter how many hospice nurses you state aided her. They are part of Fla's death care system. Florida is the Starvation State until we have competent leadership.

HINO is Scott Peterson without a boat. But, HINO used to talk about the boat he was going to buy after "the bitch was dead." I wonder if HINO has his boat by now.

HINO got fired from McDonalds - sadistic and stupid.

I don't discuss my friends in public, not on the internet. Look at all the trouble, true or not, that Karl Rove, et al are in for alleged leaks. My friends trust me because I earned their trust.

Hi, animal lover. I have a new kitten who showed up in my pkg lot and I named her FEMA. I'll post her pics here next week. She's got lots of energy and is light as a feather.

Terri loved cats. HINO killed Terri's two healthy, young cats that she had rescued. HINO killed them right after Terri was (strangled without marks). Opinion of Dr. Michael Baden and I agree with Dr. Baden. FV

Justice for Terri has sprung into many coalitions. I hope we can stop the death care system - is in five years too optimistic?

JACK HELINGER I THINK WAS INVOLVED IN SEXUAL MISCONDUCT IN THE EIGHTIES AND MAY HAVE LOST HIS BAR LICENSE. And now, he's a Pinellas County Judge? Perfect! They pal around with pornographers.

It comes in handy that I worked in St. Pete at a medium sized law firm that was in the loop. Jack Helinger's record may have been expunged if he can now be a judge. Who's going to raise this issue?

JACK HELINGER was in a lot of trouble. (I think he's buds with State Atty Bernie McCabe going way back.)

BACKGROUND: Lots of Pinellas attorneys used to go to happy hour at Harvey's ion 4th St. in St. Pete. If you wanted to hear something, you'd hear it at Harvey's if you didn't hear it at the office first. (amazing we got any work done there was so much gossip!).

MARK SHAMES, a retired judge who first gave HINO permission to kill Terri (cheated on his wife before he became a Family Law judge.)

I find the attacks on Terri and other disabled people utterly offensive. A sociologist wrote that the measure of the goodness of a society is how it treats the most defenseless members - little children, the aged, the disabled.

People with disabilities can have happier lives than those who "have everything." I knew a severely disabled boy who had to be brought to class in a wheelchair by his mother and needed special support to sit and take notes. This boy was bright, loved school, had a sunny positive attitude, a real joy of life, and proved to be an inspiration for others.

FV - you said Terri loved cats. HINO killed Terri's two healthy, young cats that she had rescued.

One thing makes me feel a little better is the fact that Terri is now with her beloved kitties and all of her deceased friends and relatives who all truly love her. No more pain and disappointment.

God bless FV and all of Terri's relatives and friends here on earth who love her and tried to achieve the best for her.
