That's worth a try, but I don't think it's going to work. I think a lot of these guys will fight to the death. It's like a real life version of Grand Theft Auto.

These aren't illegals we are dealing with. This is the homegrown variety of inner city animal born at Charity Hospital, given everything since birth. This is the results of generations of welfare.
if i were in new Orleans I knew how bad the situation was with all of these thugs ..would i loot..you damn right i would...first thing i would do was go to a super walmart...break in the gun rack..arm myself..create a citizen Militia of peaceful citizens and use the walmart as a base..then orderly hand out bottle water, chips, soda.medial supplies to anyone that needs it.. grab falshlight and batteries get a radio..my Militia will have one simple rule..any thugs you see causing trouble...shoot on site..if anyone is looting non-essential stuff like TV's bikes, cash etc.. from the walmart..shoot on site...I'm sure the walmarts roof could support a samll helicopter to transport any peaceful citizens that found there way to my base...
I know so many people in our area who are now homeless. I know people who still have homes, but what will we all go back to? If the looters and thugs have their way, none of us will have anything. I am just so angry right now. On Monday night when the storm just missed New Orleans and I found out that my house was ok, I was overjoyed. Now I just don't know what life will ever be like here again. I have a friend who is in the Coast Guard. To think that he is trying to help these people and they are acting this way makes me furious.
I am just in shock that I used to live in the suburbs of a major metropolitan area that basically is no more. Please pray for all of us.

You are correct to learn from this. And as I have said in other posts, the same type of element exists in most cities, just waiting for a disaster to bring them out of the woodwork. It's always good to be prepared for disasters, and the varmints who will be roaming the streets and highways afterwards.
Yes, we need to go on the PR OFFENSIVE about this OFFENSIVE looting situation in New Orleans. The political enemy is going to start out charging hard and fast from their bunkers on this, in the next 2-3 days, mark my words, and they will blame it on "oppression" and "lack of opportunity" in the country, and give the rioters and looting thugs a 'pass', putting the onus on "Red State America". Just watch it start to happen.

I suppose it is possible those shots weren't directed at the aircraft. They may have simply been trying to get the attention of rescuers.

iT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT THIS IS THE WORK OF A SLEEPER CELL. I am the first one to recognize how God Awful the Democrat base of New Orleans is, but even I am not prepared to believe that they are shooting at military and rescue helicopters.
