agreed,The one and only job the federal government has is to protect the Constitutional rights of the citizens of the United States. Some people understand that.

I do think the family should have the right to decide matters involving life support in a case where a person can not communicate and is terminal.

But they need to have consensus and it needs to include parents, children and spouses. And the spouse must not be living with another lover with whom they have children by at the time.

The Schindlers were shut out of the process to the point where they had to start an organization. I don't think they had any other choice but to set up a web site and a foundation.
