The Schindlers were shut out of the process to the point where they had to start an organization. I don't think they had any other choice but to set up a web site and a foundation.

And if it were my child I would do the same thing if there was any hope at all. That is what parents who love their children do.

That being said there are situations where a parent, who loves their child, has explored all options to keep their child alive and has had to let go of the child and let them die.

The issue is that Terri was not dying and the parents were not allowed to get her the rehab which could have made a difference for her.

If people were so convinced that she would not have benefited from any rehab, why were they so against any investigation which could have validated their opinions of her level of functioning?
