A Georgia bride-to-be who vanished just days before her wedding turned up in New Mexico and fabricated a tale of abduction before admitting Saturday that she got cold feet and "needed some time alone," police said.

Jennifer Wilbanks, 32, had called her fiance from a pay phone late Friday and told him that she was kidnapped three days earlier while she was jogging, authorities said. But she soon recanted, according to police.

She looks like Nancy Pellosi's understudy, and that man-sized Adams apple - OO FA!

I can understand having the jitters, but good grief!

I hope she winds up hocking all those dresses, her rings and everything else to compensate the police, FBI and everyone who has been working AROUND THE CLOCK looking for her because she ran away like a frightened little child!

(PS- I hope they toss her skinny butt in the slammer for a while, too)

So, did she beat you, Slim?

Those eyes would certainly throw off my shooting.

My wife thinks he should call off the wedding. She thinks that fabricating a kidnapping, scaring her family & friends, wasting police resources, and humiliating her fiance before the entire nation, is a "red flag".

'Tis far bette never to be married at all than to be married to a real nut case. If her fiancee is smart, he'll seriously reconsider his wedding plans.

She will live with her actions"

I have to live with her actions too as a taxpayer from the same county. It really ticks me off.

OMG! When I woke up and read that she had 'cold feet' this morning, I thought the same thing. He should run. Run far, far away.

She, maybe not with malice, sat back and watched all her friends, family, neighbors and strangers search for her and watched her Mom cry and get berated by reporters.

Where are all the 'women are treated like objects' posters now?

I agree, doubleA. She has caused so many people HOURS of anguish. I live in Georgia, not far from where she resides, and it has been a circus. People who didn't even know the family have worked non-stop to help find her, pass out flyers, etc.

What a "Maroon," to quote the infamous Bugs Bunny!

Even worse is what she did to her fiancee. Although copmpleterly innocent, he was terrified, dragged through the mud, and treated as a probably murderer. If he's not totally out of his mind with deluded love for her, he'll serioiusly reconsider his wedding plans.

She looks like a scrawny crow! Her fiance can do WAY better than her, IMO. Her eyes are freaky.

I bet he'll get marriage proposals from psychos across the country now. LOL

Poor guy, she gave him such a public dissing.

Reports said no charges will be filed. Good thing her family has connections.

Agreed. Also perplexing are those on FR who either advocated lynching him or having someone beat the truth out of him.

Geraldo and others in the media owe her fiance an apology. They were all ready to compare him to Scott Peterson.

Every one of those know-it-alls should have to publicly eat some crow.

I can't stand that.
