Clinton admires Iran...

Taheri certainly tears Clinton a new one, and with nothing but the facts mam, just the facts.

What Clinton conveniently forgot in his flippant remark about being 'driven' into the camp of Saddam Hussein, is that it was his mush-mouth-talking fellow 'Rat Jimmy Carter who sent his National Security Advisor Brezinski to Amman Jordan in 1980 to convey the message to Saddam's representatives that the U.S. wouldn't be heartbroken if Iraq were to invade and annex part of Iran's territory. This was just a ham-handed attempt on the part of Carter to try and pressure Tehran after Carter found himself totally without a clue of how to deal with the mullahs and the students in Iran holding our people hostage.

The tilt (temporary tilt) to Iraq was made necessary because Carter had stabbed the Shah in the back, greased the skids for the Assahollah Khomeini and his numnutz radicals to seize power, and by the time Reagan arrived on the scene, the U.S. was obligated to assist Iraq in it's war against Iran not because we thought Saddam was the 'good guy' but because the alternative would be to have let Iran conquer Iraq (something they were poised to do), which would have led to Tehran becoming the dominant Middle East power, and certainly in control of most of the oil. Other Arab states like Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc., would certainliy have fallen victim to Islamic radical movements inspired by Tehran.

Jimmy Carter, marinaded in hubris, blinded by his own arrogance, thought that after getting his lucky shot with Begin and Sadat at Camp David, that he was untouchable so far as remaking the Middle East in his own naive and altruistic image. Bill Clinton, who (based on his comments from this article) is clearly dumb as a bag o' hammers when it comes to his perceptions of what is, and is not true about Iran and the Middle East in general.

Carter and Clinton. Two very stupid individuals.

TO: William Jefferson Clinton FROM: nothingnew

You are a sorry sack'o'shit. Please stop representing this country as some sort of spokesperson. You were a lying sack'o'shit when you were our president (small p intended) and you are still a lying sack'o'shit now.

I wonder why President Bush sent this lying sack'o'shit over there? I'm getting pretty PO'd about this.

This S'o'S'a'S has no right to represent this country anywhere.

C'mon George W....stop the playing of both sides of the fence.

But what were those “crimes”? Clinton summed them thus: “It’s a sad story that really began in the 1950s when the United States deposed Mr. Mossadegh, who was an elected parliamentary democrat, and brought the Shah back and then he was overturned by the Ayatollah Khomeini, driving us into the arms of one Saddam Hussein. We got rid of the parliamentary democracy {there} back in the ‘50s; at least, that is my belief.”

Rule of thumb: If a leftist refers to a leader as "democratically elected," you can be almost certain that said leader is a blood-splattered tyrant.

Corollary: If the United States assists, however remotely, in the overthrow of a blood-splattered tyrant, the left will declare said tyrant to have been "democratically elected."

Bear this always in mind when considering the intentions the left has for "democracy" in your/their own country!

Nothing this man says surprises me. The vast majority of his blood supply feeds the head between his legs rather than on his shoulders due to his scheduled activities. The fact that people take notice to his utterings is surprising.

Did Bill Clinton speak to the accusation by Juanita Broaderick that he raped her in this address? If not, then he is still the pervert that I view him to be and is not worthy to be addressing anyone. And his lovely wife, the heir-apparent to be the next democrat presidential candidate, had damned well better talk about her pervert hubby before she even thinks about tossing her pants suit into the ring..... JMHO.....

Clinton’s declaration of love for the mullas shows how ill informed even a US president could be.

We are talking about Clinton here. The guy who wanted to have the SF dressed in ninja suits rappel into a terrorist camp to scare them.

He isn't real well acquainted with reality.
