Every time I'm at the Galleria, the thought of something like this crosses my mind...it's always good to be aware of the threats we face in the world today. I usually don't let it bother me but it's something to be aware of...even some place as relatively empty as the South Hills Mall is a target.

Is there any source for this other than Fox? That gal hiding in the back room sounded remarkably calm to me, and the cop they just had on the phone is named Joe Coffey? That was the name of a character on Hill Street Blues. Are we sure someone isn't just taking Fox for a ride here?

Mall was relatively crowded according to Kingston mayor. Two gunmen are at large. Mayor does not know how many were wounded, only to say that one person was Medivac'd to Westchester county.

Witnesses said there's a police standoff going on right now at the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston.
There are reports that shots have been fired inside the mall. We don't know if anyone's hurt, but we're told that the mall is completely surrounded by police.
Capital News 9 has a crew on the way, and we'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
It's on CNN now too.
I'm waiting for the comment,"You expect this kind of thing in the city but not here----we never even lock our doors".
