Thanks for the link. That will help others become familiar with the story. What I notice in particular, is that when the person is able to be revived, the initial investigation gets sloppy because the person didn't die. So many valuable clues like body position and all sorts of things get a quick lookover instead of a thorough exam.
In Michael and Terri's case, the police asked him if they had been having any fights or marital difficulties lately, to which Michael responded no. In fact, Michael's own brother admits in newspaper reports that Michael and Terri did have a HUGE argument that very day which corroborates what Terri's coworker, Jackie Rhodes, said in court testimony.

If I remember correctly wasn't Terri going to ask for
a divorce the day of thee "accident"? Because of his
philandering and total control of her including her money
(her earnings) didn't she tell her friend what she was
going to do and the friend wanted Terri to stay with her
"that" night? Terri said she could handle Michael and that
was the last time they talked.
