Ping. I'm not sure where this is at, I'm assuming it's Coalville or a town nearby (they mentioned the remains would be buried at Coalville Cemetery.)

Summit County sheriff's Capt. Alan Siddoway spoke to students during a recent assembly to assuage fears of ghosts and provide the ages of the dead.

This is a middle school? Kids afraid of ghosts.

The sheriff must have watched way too many Scoobie Doo cartoons when he was a kid.

Building over a burial ground ought to make for some interesting educational events.

"We knew there used to be an old cemetery here," said North Summit Middle School Principal Lloyd Marchant. "But this was unexpected."

Gotta love that public education.

If something is to be built over my grave let it be a freeway or even a landfill; anything but a public school. Disgraceful.

Isn't it interesting that we cannot disturb the habitat of a crosseyed bat due to environmental concerns but there is no problem with disenterring the dead "pioneers". They knew there was a cemetery there. How did they get permission to violate it? More proof that human life is loosing its value in this country.

That's a lesson plan the kids will remember for a long time.

Put the coffins in the lobby with a sign that reads, "This is what happens to little boys and girls who don't pay attention in class".
