Looks like their election result didnt stop terrorism?
Office bound. Updates appreciated.
Presumably it's ETA, but my bet is the jihadists are behind it.
bump
CNN reporting low potency bombs....no injuries. ETA made the bomb threats...3 to 4 bombs exploded at Madrid gas station.
he terrorism would have stopped if they pulled out of Iraq..... Wait they did that!
Note to Spain, giving in to terrorists just encourages them.
The blasts were small, no casualties were reported...via FOX.
It sounds like their domestic breed of terrorists are behind it but the islamderthals may be involved.
If Al Qaeda this should be a blow to that effeminate socialist wheenie running spain.
Well, I have a Basque ancestor (for years, our family thought he was french, and didn't talk about him, but when we found he was Basque, it became ok again... haha!) and from what I understand, in my recent researh, even the general Basque population is not too fond of the ETA any longer...
What it boils down to is simple - Terrorists, by their very nature, enjoy killing, and even when they no longer have a cause to "fight" for, and have no pulic support, they can't stop themselves and continue the killing... Sad.
This calls for new elections.
Guy on Fox in Madrid says "details are sketchy"...Says Spanish national court is cracking down on terror and that TODAY, prosecutors there have recommended 60 year prison sentences for ETA members being tried for terrorism. This may be why they did this. The spanish and french authorities have arrest several ETA members lately and that their supporters are seeking revenge.
IT is dark there and there is a lot of traffic on the roads with police cars etc. around the blast site. ETA phoned in bomb threats about 10 minutes before it happened. CNN says this is typical of this particular group.
They ETA terrorist who called said there are FIVE bombs in Madrid. Four have exploded.
You mean Socialism is not the cure for Terrorism? I'm shocked!

There were threats from a Basque group in newspapers that some bombs would be going off, CNN reported.
Refresh this page later for updates.
Spaniard who works in my office says that it was small-scale targets, apparently gas stations, no known fatalities. His brother in Spain sez it looks like ETA.
Thanks.
Thanks to you too.
