Martin Frost (D-Texas) Concedes! (Bwahahaha!)

Just heard Martin Frost concede the election to Republican Pete Sessions! With 21% of precincts reporting, he trailed Sessions 57% - 43%.

To his credit, Frost's speech was brief, and gentlemanly.

Good news, but not unexpected, eh? What I would really like to hear????? Tom Daschle concedes! Would make my night. Might not be able to stop smirking for days ;^)

In all fairness to him, he ran against the red Pelosi for minority leader.

He should pull a Zell Miler.

Frost?! It was a case of two socialists running against each other. Martin's out for Martin's power only, and you obviously don't know anything about him.

And Frost, being the lamea** that he is tried to use it as a campaign issue.

Worse yet were the signs saying "Vote No to Sessions. No 30% Sales Tax" Most misleading ad I've ever seen.

Chet Edwards and the DCC ran the exact same attack against Arlene Wohlgemuth. I doubt it actually cost her any great number of votes.

I never understood why Arlene Wohlgemuth did not make Edwards' voting record an issue, particularly his extreme secularism and his opposition to school prayer.

Frost may decided to seek the governorship in 2006, now that his congressional career is derailed, at least for the time being. I think he will be back making another race in the future.

If he is never elected to public office in Texas, that would be fine with me.

He'll never get my vote. Not even for dog-catcher .....

It was fun watching Frost bleed. If Bush carries Ohio, which it looks like he will, that means Frost won't get a job in the Kerry White House. I love it!!

Oh, this thrills me to death!
I remember that punk during redistricting and his little buddies going after DeLay in the run up to the election.

Frost got DE-FROSTED!!

He really had nothing in common with anyone I know in the 32nd. I could not figure out how he could ever represent us. He thought he could bring his union thugs in here and just slide his way into our hearts. This area has always sent good coservatives to Congress. This area, even in the days of democratic gerrymandering NEVER had democrat or liberal representation.

Frost picked the wrong district from which to run, if he wanted to win. For that we should all bow our heads and thank the Lord above.
