PARIS If the world could cast a vote in the United States presidential election, John Kerry would beat George W. Bush by a landslide, according to a poll released on Wednesday that is described as the largest sample of global opinion on the race. . "It is absolutely clear that John Kerry would win handily if the people of the world could vote," said Steve Kull, director of The Program on International Policy Attitudes of the University of Maryland, a co-sponsor of the survey. "It is rather striking that just one in five people surveyed around the world support the re-election of President Bush."

There's a reason that 4/5ths of the world is a cesspool, and this poll clearly illustrates why.

The title of this post should be modified a bit to reflect this being a fantasy poll.

If it was up to the world countries, Reagan would have gotten his as whipped by a landslide as well. The world wants to see nothing more than the US get a bloody nose if not a fatal wound.

I don't care if Kerry has the support of most of planet Earth, Mars or Pluto.

The President is going to win -- LIVE WITH IT!

If the world could vote in US elections there'd be six Tanzanians, two Burmese and a Ukranian family living in my house & I'd be under a bridge in a cardboard box.

I pray that Kerry cites this poll and starts babbling about how Europe and the Third World Islamo-fascists want him to win.

Here it comes. Watch for the new lefty progressive argument about "human rights."

"The US is the most powerful country in the world. When it sneezes, the people of the world catch a cold. When the fate of butcher in Paris, or the shopkeeper in China depends so heavily on US policy, it is a criminal denial of democratic human rights to deny these people a say in the choice for US President."

Anyone want to start a pool on when this argument will become an official talking point of the One-Worlders?

It shows what we're up against.

Exactly. It means we'll need 5 bullets for every one the rest of the world has.

That's a fact.

Madison rightly pointed out that those who confiscate your property do not respect your ideas. So Just For Kerry fits in with the rest of the world.

Changing with the Wind
Sung to Blowing in the Wind

How many times must he flip flop and flip,
Before he takes a firm stand?
How many lies must he tell about Nam,
Before we all call his hand?
How many times can he vote pro and con,
Before he is totally canned?
His answer my friend, is changing with the wind.
His answer is changing with the wind.
How many times will he say George Bush lied,
Before he tells us a fact?
How many times must I hear him drone on,
And still my ears stay intact?
How many deaths did he cause there in Nam,
With all his appeasements at home?
The answer and trend, John Kerry's not our friend,
The answer's John Kerry's not our friend.
How many terms could John Kerry serve,
Before America's gone?
How many days before he would cave in,
Afraid to protect our home?
How many weeks till he gave us away,
And let the UN take the throne?
The answer my friend, we'd twist in the wind,
The answer is we'd twist in the wind.

Dream on! Da Bushman will win in a landslide. Ketchupman won't have to worry about releasing his military records and Twerpy te-RAY-za can return to Neverland. Edwards back to the woodwork like the cockroach that he is.
