I have been on NYT and WashPost so far. A group is inundating their pages with left wing ads, but I don;t see any group -527 or similar - behind it. Does anyone have any additional information on it?

The website is http://www.retrovsmetro.org . It tries to pawn itself off as a 'political' blog until u take their 'dup-o-meter' or just look at their content which duplictiuosly advances left0wing garbage or their advertising with a bad pic of Bush.

I don't want to promote the ad, or their camapaign, but jsut want to figure out where this groups is coming from.

Yea, well Kerry is now asking for the SVT ads to be pulled by the FEC after millions have been spent by lib 527s. But I am wondering where this page is coming from and the book they are trying to sell. Usually, any group or organization has to put fwd their tax status. I am wondering if there is some duplcitious limo lib who is funding this himself. It is a clearly left wing site that tries to pass itself off as nonpartisan (kind of like NYT,but that is a whole separate issue)

Cant tell the domain owner. He's got the site registered with a domain anonymizer service. This seems to be pretty common for these groups. See This Thread

Yea, I noticed that on whois.net. The reason I posted was because they seemd to be on WashPost and NYT predominantly, but now there ads don;t seem to appear as frequently. I wonder, what do you guys think, what is the impact of political online advertising going to be because, to be honest, BC has been far bahing KE on this respect.

That's the first I've heard of the swiftvets.org website. Extremely misleading name, as is the content of the site. One of their many false claims is that Adm. Zumwalt supports kerry's military actions. Their rebuttal to almost every allegation against kerry is that the person making the allegation was not assigned to kerry's boat. They even use that argument to rebut the doctor that treated kerry for his purple owie. Now I ask you, what are the chances that the treating physician would be one of the six crew members on kerry's swiftboat?
