"She broke the law, and got a slap on the wrist.

"And people still defend her.
,br> "Amazing."

Yep. My favorite is the Bill Clinton defense: "He lied and didn't get into trouble, so Martha shouldn't get into trouble either. Anything less is hypocritical."

I can't wait for the rioting and looting in the streets by middle-aged women in summer pastel dresses. Dragging the un-fashioned out into the streets and beating them with meat tenderizers.

"She should have gotten the full sentence."

She's not capable of completing a full sentence. Listen to her talk. ;- )

Does Martha know it's not PC in the US to cook live puppies? Or is that photo for a Chinese magazine?

Martha says she is being suffocated. She doesn't know suffocation but she may if she is sat on by a 250 pound big fat mama.

I bet the people who brought her stock are not happy. Those who brought her stock lost a lot of money. The fair thing to do is make her pay them what they lost plus. The Media says just a little amount of money, so we can all now go rob bank for a little amount of money and get no jail time for it. She should have went to jail today. I for one don't care who you are if it was us common people we have been in jail long ago. It time the law be upheld for all no matter how much money they have, or how poor. The only way this is going to stop is if they know they all go to jail. This is what we get when law is not upheld.

I have softened my approach on Martha...I THINK her whole imprisonment should be house arrest with the recommended community service, and the fines.

Hey Martha, it couldn't happen to a better liberal. I hope they put her in with a Bubbette for security and comfort. Word from the South!!!! Bush/Cheney 2004

This sucks. Why even send her to prison? Only 5 months? And she will be living at home for half of it. I wonder how long it will take for her to actually go to prison. She might as well pay for some one to do the time. I wonder if her paid for prison consulant is working on that angle now. So much for punishing the guilty. It sounds like they are going to make her way to comfortable. I wouldn't be scared either if I could pay everyone off during a mere 5 months and get to live at home with 48 hour excursions the rest of the five.

She will not go to prison right away. You mean Martha may not be ready yet. How stupid can the law be?

A much, much larger fine should have been given and 5 months of working in a soup kitchen (plus she pays for the soup).
