Washington, DC—RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie issued the following comment on George Soros’ statement today that he “does not equate the abuse in Abu Ghraib with the terror attacks of September 11.”

"John Kerry forgot he voted for the Patriot Act and No Child Left Behind. Al Gore forgot he was Vice President when Osama Bin Laden declared war on the United States five separate times and when terrorists killed Americans. Now George Soros can't remember what he said yesterday," said RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie.

A transcript of Soros’ comments yesterday and audio of his comments is included below: Audio Link: http://media1.streamtoyou.com/rnc/Soros-AbuGhraib-6-3-04-112secs.mp3

“And I think that the picture of torture in the Abu Ghraib, in Saddam’s prison, was the moment of truth for us, because this is not what this nation stands for. I think that those pictures hit us the same way as the terrorist attack itself. Not quite with the same force because the terrorist attack we were the victims.

“In the pictures we were the perpetrators, others were the victims. But there is, I’m afraid, a direct connection between those two events, because the way President Bush conducted the war on terror, converted us from victims into perpetrators.

“This is a very tough thing to say, but the fact is, that the war on terror as conducted by this administration, has claimed more innocent victims that the original attack itself.”

Something tells me that the fleas are distancing themselves from the rat after his ridiculous comments made yesterday...

This gaffe could turn out to be political dynamite in exposing the truly anti-American posture of the Left. (I know, I know...but a man's gotta take hope where he finds it.)

True. For a backroom money man to back away from his comments means someone had a talk with him, and given the amount of money Soros is throwing around, that someone has to be high up on the food chain.

Soros received a thunderous ovation after making these remarks... I would love to see video of this to see if Hillary (who introduced Soros at the event) was also clapping.

Don't despair. Soon the secret strategery will become clear. Misunderestimation is imminent, be patient, Nov is a long way off.

Bill Clinton seemed to be attempting to call off the dogs yesterday with his comment that "George Bush is doing exactly what he said he would do" Could it be that slick Willie actually has control over George Soros?

Remember, that it was Hillary Clinton that introduced Soros! The MSM is burying the Soros story.

Memo to Mr. Soros:

You see that small red button on the VCR...on the DVD Recorder...on the Tivo...on the Tape Recorder...yeah, the one that says "RECORD"?????

You see that small black icon on the computer screen that looks like a Floppy disk? It says "SAVE"?

Both of those primitive devices work! And they don't discriminate between Republicans and Democrats!

End of memo.

Sincerely (fervently desiring to defeat you into submission in November),
A proud member of the VRWC

He didn't really screw up; Everyone there loved it as did Hillary; but alas, Hillary did a poll and it did not look good; or maybe even Kerry got a bit nervous when he saw the evening news; but this is not the first time Soros has gone there; and he will again; he will just be more careful where. . .

Also would like to commend the Repubs and RNC et al; seems they are finding a stronger voice. . .hope that is the case; because we need it.

It's sad when a "Billion dollar" member of our free society becomes so forgetful.

Mr. Soreass is probably the most dangerous man on earth. With sufficient wealth and power to manipulate the world economy like a puppet master, his puppet, to favor which ever political party or politician he chooses. He idolized the Clintons and now John Kerry.

Soreass despises Bush, Christians and Patriotic Americans. He is contemptious of everything the average American cherishes. His wealth can't buy your vote for his candidate, but he has the unlimited funds to buy beguiling political ad after beguiling political ad, until your brain becomes so saturated with twisted and perverted images, that reality is difficult to discern. It's called brain washing, and was used very successfully by other enemies in another time.

Don't allow Soreass to tell you whom you should vote for.
