Good riddance! Now lets hope he does walk in and resign on Monday. That would be a blessing for society.

Howard is the most influential and innovative radio performer ever.
If people don't like him they should turn the dial. Clear Channel is well within their rights to take him off the air. Someone else will pick him up soon enough.

Don't really listen to Stern much anymore. In small doses, maybe a few minutes a week. Used to listen almost the entire hour commute to work, but it started to get real repetitious. I think it lost its edge with his divorce, and when Jackie left it kinda lost its frat-house goodnaturedness, and turned nasty. Can't put my finger on it exactly, but it just got wearisome.

watching howard drool over naked women isn't entertainment. good riddence. who cares about his opinion anyway? and his book and movie sucked. the same people who loved howard probably watched the show jackass. which i hope is the next show to go.

Howard just isn't funny anymore. He is a liberal that was just the other day talking about how wonderful Al Franken's book is. His views on abortion are sickening.</p>
I have no doubt that he will support Kerry in the election and would use his influence in that regard.

Howard Stern being off the air everywhere would be a blessing. We don't really need 14 year old, snickering, boys locker room humor (unless you're a 14 year old - mentally).
I really have no knowledge of what he did/said because I haven't wasted my time with him for years.

The following are Viacom owned companies. A conservative parent's worst nightmare.
Remember Simon & Schuster who paid Hillary $8 million for her book & CBS did that lovely hatchet job on President Reagan with Mr. Streisand. |

Good.
I accidentally tuned into the local station that carries his show 3 years ago. The subject matter, anal sex, was not one I particularly cared to hear about. Sounds like nothing's changed in the intervening years.

News of new victims of Cheap Channel's new-found "decency":
ALL ACCESS hears there's another CLEAR CHANNEL morning show off the air, as WKLS (96 ROCK)/ATLANTA morning stars THE REGULAR GUYS will be off the air FRIDAY (2/27) and until further notice. The GUYS (LARRY WACHS and ERIC VON HAESSLER) want clarification from the company about Pres. JOHN HOGAN's comments that CLEAR CHANNEL hosts will be personally liable for the financial repercussions of any alleged on-air indecency. HOGAN included that provision in his "zero tolerance" policy unveiled on the eve of his Congressional testimony.
Just damn.If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
