Also known as Calpers, the group said it has "lost complete confidence in Mr. Eisner's strategic vision and leadership in creating shareholder value in the company." OUCH!
To: SierraWasp
Eisner is about to discover why he should have followed that old maxim, "Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you're going to meet them again on the way down."
It's a good thing he's been able to grab millions upon millions of dollars from Disney shareholders over the years, because he's going to need it to buy new friends once this is all over. He'll be a pariah.

10 million shares of company stock helped the group when it said it has "lost complete confidence in Mr. Eisner's strategic vision and leadership in creating shareholder value in the company."Buh Bye, Eisner.

Well, Disney has 2 billion shares outstanding, so CALPERS 10 million shares isn't that large an amount. I bet Eisner himself owns more (or options thereon).
To: SierraWasp
Even if Eisner wins re-election, he is in a world of hurt. The Board will NOT let Eisner get voted out - he'll be forced to "retire" or just plain tossed out.

I dunno if this is good, or not.
Being a public service group in CA,
CALPERS, I would think, is as liberal as liberal can be.
They may want someone even more bizarre the Eisner !!!

What happen to Calpers?
Why are they doing something that is right not PC or to feather the nests of elite leftist fascists in control of leftist companies?
