Calpers says it won't back Eisner (DIS) By Russ Britt

LOS ANGELES (CBS.MW) -- The California Public Employees Retirement System said Tuesday it will withhold voting for Walt Disney Co. (DIS) Chairman and Chief Executive Michael Eisner on its nearly 10 million shares of company stock. Also known as Calpers, the group said it has "lost complete confidence in Mr. Eisner's strategic vision and leadership in creating shareholder value in the company." Calpers said it will vote to retain all other board members.

Eisner is about to discover why he should have followed that old maxim, "Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you're going to meet them again on the way down."

It's a good thing he's been able to grab millions upon millions of dollars from Disney shareholders over the years, because he's going to need it to buy new friends once this is all over. He'll be a pariah.

10 million shares of company stock helped the group when it said it has "lost complete confidence in Mr. Eisner's strategic vision and leadership in creating shareholder value in the company."

Buh Bye, Eisner.

You're kidding right? Hollywood will be making a beeline toward Mr. Eisner because of his staunch support for the queer agenda and his ANTI-FAMILY views! Mark it, he'll have a HIGH paying job with the liberal establishment lined up by the time WD gives him the boot!

Yep, made my day too. I'm guessing there's at least one pair of Minnie Mouse boxers at Disney Corporate that won't be coming back from laundry.
