KATIE COURIC "RULES ARE FOR LITTLE PEOPLE!" (mine)
NY POST PAGE SIX ^

AMERICA's TV sweetheart Katie Couric got a little testy Tuesday night when a West Village doorman tried to enforce his apartment building's ban on talking on cellphones in the lobby. While waiting for a friend, our source says, Couric got on her cellphone and began blathering away. "The doorman approached her and asked her politely to take her calls elsewhere," says our spy. "It was clearly posted on a sign five feet away from where she had been yakking for nearly 20 minutes." Couric refused to wrap up her conversation and snapped, "You give a doorman a little power . . .!" The dissed doorman would not back down, however, and Couric was eventually convinced to step outside the building. "I was just doing my job," the doorman shrugged to sympathetic apartment dwellers. A rep for Couric didn't return calls.

We went to see "Miracle" this past weekend. A woman a few rows in front of us did not a)turn her cell phone off b)put it on silent. The thing must have rung 3-4 times in the first 1/2 hour. BUT SHE NEVER ANSWERED IT!! A couple of people asked he nicely to turn it off. She ingnored them. Finally one of the ushers (do they call them that?) came and asked her to either cut it off or leave. Of course she got huffy about that but I guess she must have turned it off because it never rang again.

Come on Ed...you've started strong, now lets grow a pair and attack the same way.....

What logic?!!!!!

You claim that the media manipulates and controls news and then assume that they will put Republicans on saying things that violate their manipulation and control.

Did it ever occur to you , that if the media does manipulate the news, they would not let anyone use them to presetnt views they don't support?

Either the media slants coverage so it supports their bias or they have no bias....

My Couric Tribute follows.

Katie

My TV set is seldom on,
The place called NBC.
I seldom stop to listen to,
The lies they fling at me.
But every now and sometimes then,
I have to cruise on by.
To watch the little evil snit,
And laugh right in her eye.
She wrinkles up her face so tight,
It looks just like a fist.
If something good she must report,
You'll see that she is pissed.
She hates Bush and Arnold too,
America she loathes.
If I was network president,
She couldn’t buy her clothes.
So this I say for all to hear,
I think that she's a slob.
Ms Couric’s insignificant,
I’d love to take her job.

Couric, representing NBC (and thus antiAmerican and proFrench interests):
"We (at NBC) all hope and pray that Saddam escaped harm, and hopefully fled to Syria."

Rules do not apply to rats, lawyers, and the terminally perky.

"The Doorman", Episode 104
http://www.stanthecaddy.com/the-doorman-script.html

DOORMAN: ...What makes you think I wasn't reading the Wall Street page? Oh, I know, because I'm the uneducated doorman.

JERRY: ...I really don't have to talk to you. Goodbye.

Jerry walks away.

DOORMAN: (calling after Jerry) You really think you're better than me, don't you?!

DOORMAN: (calling after Jerry) You really think you're better than me, don't you?

And the Doorman was none other than Larry Miller, "one of us" -- a comic and a writer for the "Weekly Standard."

I'll tell you what else ain't so perky. Her breasts. That is if you describe two cankerous mosquito bites as breast tissue. I hope her GastroEnt guy didn't go blind when he saw her naked!

I read it... it was shameless. Commi-Couric bathed the witches feet in fine oils and rose petals. She's a fawning house-monkey for the DNC.

Very well put.

She absolutely did say that. Check out the archives at MediaResearch.com

It's not just Katie. This is "Liberal" dogma--rules and laws are for the weak and the politically incorrect. If you're powerful and "one of us", you can get away with anything.

In "Liberal" enclaves, this is translated into selective enforcement. The concept of civil disobedience is distorted into as many shapes as anyone could wish and defended with righteous indignation. Another strategy is to enact so many laws and rules that all could not possibly be enforced. This makes it possible for powerful "Liberals" to enforce them selectively and capriciously according to their whims.

Nonpowerful "Liberals" tend to be very stupid. They tend to applaud the corruption of powerful "Liberals". They get vicarious pleasure out of watching powerful "Liberals" flaunt their disregard for laws and rules.

Speaking of Hillary, she once was kicked out of a resturant for refusing to follow their no cell phone rules.

I'm sure Madame Couric was duly shocked and offended by such an insubordinate outburst from a servant who needs to learn more respect for his betters.

Nothing a little flogging wouldn't cure, I'm sure.

Now, which one to flog...

Someone should write a book on cell phone etiquette

Remember telephone etiquette? Seems no one else does.
