The Winter Soldier Investigation (WSI) grew out of the moral outrage of American soldiers who had committed acts in response to official orders and policies that were criminal in nature.

WSI began as a project of CCI, supported by Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) cofounder Jan Crumb, attorney Mark Lane, and actress Jane Fonda. The object of Winter Soldier was to take the all-too-available atrocity stories coming out of Vietnam and show their direct relationship to American policies.

The Citizen's Commission of Inquiry had contacted VVAW to find witnesses to atrocities. After months of increasingly disharmonious work together, VVAW decided that the public event that was growing out of gathering this testimony would have more credibility as an all-veteran project. Registered, a Kerry spokesperson said this morning on tv that "He did not know Jane Fonda." How can that be? They are blatant liars. Jane Fonda was on CNN this afternoon defending John Kerry. Put a fork in him and he brought this on himself.

OK. Now you changed the original picture you posted to another one. That doesn't mean that it isn't already downloaded to hundreds of hard drives (just like mine) and it won't circulate around the Internet.

Just say "Oops!", let us all know it was fake (should put something on it to make it more obvious) and then we can work to kill any confusion it will cause. I mean, the Kerry in front of the Vietnam flag was an obvious fake and Veterans Against John Kerry even openly stated it was intentionally made that way and IT still caused confusion. So, let us know what's up with the pic as if we haven't already guessed.
