News flash...we are it.

What insight.

Get deprogrammed before you eat the applesauce. I implore you.

Like I said above, its an awfully big universe.

Exactly. Which DISPROVES the idea of aliens from another galaxy visiting us. From this galaxy? Nah, we can't find any viable life.

The distances alone, under Einstein's theory, prove it would take longer than the entire history of our galaxy to get here.

And even if you believe in warp drive like in Star Trek, the distances are still so vast as to be impossible to travel within our entire history.

And how would they even know we were here? Our techology is so new that radio and other transmissions that have been travelling in space, at the speeds they do, would take billions upon billions and trillions of years to even reach another galaxy even if they have advanced receiving technology. So then it would take more billions of years to get here and our entire solar system will be gone by then.

Now, if you want to then add in the possibility of wormholes, black holes, dark space, etc., you still have vast amounts of distance.

I'd believe in alternative universes before I believe in visitors from our own.

Our "laws of physics" are ours alone.

That's ridiculous. They hold for everything we've found in space including other galaxies. We, using our physics, can see their movements and predict their tracts. We even see them colliding and following the exact physics we use.

Why do so many people assume that IF there is other life, they are more advanced and have different physical laws? Has anyone ever bothered to think that other life might exist but WE are on top of the chain? Why is this never a template?

Don't get me started on time travel! lol

I'll stick with the cause and effect theory at this point. BUT, I do think it's possible to travel to the future based on relativity, but not the past.

I have a buddy I went to college with who is a programmer for Northrop [they own area51 now] and he worked out there. He would tell me the stories that security would tell him about how they would screw with the UFO coterie.

It is hilarious...but also sad.

He is a devout Christian and member of my church in Los Angeles. He took the job/contract only if they would fly him to Los Angeles for the weekend [as opposed to Las Vegas: standard proceadure] so that he coul attend church...haha.

So, this UFO thing? It fits the definition of a cargo cult in your opinion?

Yeah, my brother was stationed in Las Vegas. He still lives there after retiring and now works for the contractors he worked with when in the service...but for a heck of a lot more money than the Air Force paid him. And he still goes to Nellis AFB everyday.

He doesnt work for Northrop anymore.

He quit programming and opened a chain of Cinnebon shops here in Virginia [no doubt a result of the deprogramming performed on his brain by the Top Secret Star Fleet CIA]...

...that or like your Brother, he was able to make more money.

LOL, deprogramming! Fortunately, most of my brother's activities were declassified so he finally got to tell us where and what he did. For the most part.

He was also in OSI and he still can't tell us what he did for them. But at his retirement, he got a lot of cool ribbons and patches and certificates from them for whatever he did.

And, even after retiring in March of 2003, he had to "go fix things" in some undisclosed job all of a sudden. Our theory is he's special, special, special ops. But I also think he just went to Qatar to set up the command computers since he's in IT.

Conception and birth serve as a stargate for immaterial intersteller travel. But abortion leaves souls stuck "in transit"(limbo). That's why those souls appear to us as gray, nearly featureless beings that can only approach us in our half-dream states. That's also why they are so curious about human sex organs. They cannot figure out why so many souls are being stuck in limbo. That we would be voluntarily aborting, is beyond their comprehension.

My buddy's contract gives Northrop the right of refusal if he wants to go back into IT, meaning they can nix job offers from certain companies.

I would venture a guess that it has to do with possible espionage versus his ability to teach the Chinese about the flux capacitor Northrop removed from a peace bringing wayward spacecraft full of pasty white, 75 pound Liberals.
