[history]
The controversy over creating no-protest zones around abortion clinics took a personal turn for three Sacramento County supervisors Monday when an anti-abortion activist slipped into a news conference and challenged the politicians.
Speaking at the Women's Health Specialists clinic in the Arden area, the supervisors unveiled a proposed ordinance that would create a 20-foot buffer zone around reproductive clinics in unincorporated Sacramento County. It would also apply to offices of doctors who offer abortion.

Democrats are of the opinion that free speech should not exist for their opponents.

Democrats are also of the opinion that the 9th amendment only applies to them and not their kids.

The USA is also de facto allowing millions of illegals to work in this country to buttress a job force ravaged by abortion.

This is a typical case of free speech for me, but not for thee. I doubt the city would apply protest limits to labor unions, environmental activists, or anti-war activists.

Abortion, it's just murder.

Liberal men certainly
seem to serve their own needs when they fight for women to gain access to abortion clinics while they trample on the free-speech rights of others.
Chuck Schumer acts like a typical male chavinist.
He fights for the rights of women to go into abortion clinics, but I haven't noticed him fighting for women to have full membership in Freemasonry.
Would Chuck Schumer, (who is a Mason according to C-Span), argue that a woman should be allowed to gain full membership in his lodge?
Senator Schumer's re-election motto should be:
Women in abortion clinics - SI!
Women in my Masonic Lodge - NO!
I believe in the right to free association. The government should not force the Masons to accept female members. But you'd think a "caring" liberal like Chuck would, at least, fight personally for women's memberships as Freemasons.

Schumer's "needs" is to get elected. If the majority of women were marching on Washington to demand a freemason membership, he would wholeheartedly open up. However, the major concern for liberal women is easy access to abortion clinics. You're right though about his hypocricy. If he were a true feminist, he would retire and campaign for a woman in his place.

I've noticed some are also referring to pro-lifers and the "anti-choice" crowd. Maybe we should take their tactics and intead of calling them pro-abortionists, we should call them the "anti-life" crowd. : )

"Christians and other pro-life citizens are being singled out because we oppose abortion," he said. "If they did this to any other minority, folks would be screaming." Uh, excuse me, but that is not quite right. Those who oppose abortion are NOT in the minority. If they were, then why is the "pro-choice" crowd so dead set against allowing the people to have a say in the matter?

Those who oppose abortion are NOT in the minorityDittos. If we are the minority, then why is Dachle and Co. having such a fit in the Senate over Bush's judicial nominees? Could it be because the majority wants to make some changes?

Durn right you are. Pro-abortionists are forever saying, "Let's agree to disagree." This is shorthand for saying, "Let's cut off all debate on the subject."
To: BrucefromMtVernon
"reproductive clinics ..."Yeah that stuck in my throat also. Lots of reproduction going on in the abortuary.
Like Orwell's Ministry of Love, a horror house of butchery.
The rats try to actually change the meaning of words. Not to mention they do everything to cut off free speech.
