Here's what I don't understand about this -- and didn't understand when you first posted it it what, a week, 10 days ago?

The first few sentences make it sound like it 's a "good Michael" story -- how devoted he is, spends lots of time at nursing home, Terri is glad to hear his voice (so much for the out-of-it VEGETABLE theory, huh?!).

But then he's complaining -- at the same time he's doing this 'devoted husband' schtick. It just doesn't make sense. It would perhaps be helpful to add all these stories to the known timeline at terrisfight, see what was happening at this time -- 3 yrs after, 93, after lawsuit, Terri starting to be a problem, why is Michael still visiting her so much then?

Wait a minute, I need to post this on that other thread. . .girlfriend could not hardly be making this up: "as soon as he got near the door, her head was already looking at the door, but that she would recognize his voice... ...and she would start crying when he got ready to leave."

Years and years of neglect and sensory deprivation have taken a toll on Terri. It's ironic that trolls now point to her limited responsiveness -- to the very damage Michael has done to her -- as if that justifies him finishing her off. He should be the one locked away.

I have boundless hope for Terri, but she must have care, she must have love, she must see the sun. I wish we could all be there to give her that kitten. Michael Schiavo's hold must be broken and his appalling cruelty to her must be ended.

INTERESTING -- from new article "Terri Schiavo's parents discuss their pain, heartache & resolve":

Mary said she remembered thinking right after Terri's collapse that Michael was extraordinarily attentive for having been thrust into such a situation. She recalled five other young women in Terri's condition at a nursing home in Sable Ponds and said their mothers told her that each of their husbands "flew" after they realized their wives would likely never be the same.

"I thought, 'Look at this loving man that's here every day.' He watched her like a hawk. Naturally, now I know he was afraid. He must have been thinking, 'What if they teach her to talk?'" Mary speculated. "I think he was afraid she would say, 'What are you doing here? You did this to me!' I think that's what happened. Speculation, yes, but it is a possible explanation for what's bothering me in that interview.

The gospel, according to Mikey.

Yeah, sure.
