News Advisory:

WHAT: Schindler Family to Release Secretly Obtained Evidence That Terri Schindler-Schiavo Has Been Denied Proper Care

WHEN: TODAY, Tuesday, Oct. 14, at noon

WHERE: In front of the Woodside Hospice where Terri Schindler-Schiavo lives. Hospice Woodside is located at 6774 102nd Avenue N. (near 66th Street N and 102nd Avenue N) in Pinellas Park, Fla.

The evidence to be presented will show beyond any reasonable doubt that Terri is the victim of gross neglect by her caregivers, and may provide the grounds for Governor Bush to intervene on her behalf.

24-hour vigil continues outside hospice.

Following is a statement from the parents of Terri Schindler-Schiavo--Bob & Mary Schindler:

"We love our daughter very much and we want her home. Over the last 13 years, Terri has laughed with us, cried with us, talked with us, and even tried to get out of her chair. The accusations that Terri is in a coma or is a "vegetable" are a lie.

"We beg Michael Schiavo, and those working with him to end our daughter's life, to let her come home to her family. We will sign any agreement you want, giving you all monies related to Terri's collapse and any insurance money that may be forthcoming. You take the money. We just want our daughter."

Randall Terry, President of the Society for Truth and Justice states, "Consider this disturbing fact: Years ago Michael Schiavo argued in court that he needed large sums of money to pay for Terri's care and rehabilitation. When hundreds of thousands of dollars was awarded, instead of using it for therapy and rehabilitation, he hired an attorney to seek Terri's death. Since when is starvation a means of rehabilitation?"

Details on Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her fight to stay alive is available online at http://www.terrisfight.org

Was this evidence that they were prevented from introducing in court or is it newly discovered evidence?

I cannot help but wonder - who is telling the truth. What does each side gain in telling their side of the story.

Is this woman actually "living" or is she, as is claimed by the medical staff, in a vegitative state?

Why don't you watch the videos and see for yourself. It takes a few moments for the pop-up. Please be patient.

What the hell is Jeb Bush waiting for? I think he should start to act and stop this atrocity.

I just found this in the Florida News section of the Tampa Tribune:

Court: Removal of Brain-Damaged Woman's Feeding Tube Can Proceed

Published: Oct 14, 2003

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (AP) - An appeals court refused to block Tuesday the removal of a severely brain-damaged woman's feeding tube, one of the last hopes her parents had for keeping her alive.

The 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland rejected two motions filed by an attorney for the parents of Terri Schiavo, who is scheduled to have the feeding tube removed Wednesday at her husband's request.

Schiavo, 39, is expected to die within two weeks after the tube is removed. She has been in a vegetative state since suffering a heart attack in 1990.

Her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, have waged a long legal battle against her husband, Michael Schiavo, saying their daughter could be rehabilitated but has never been given the chance.

Michael Schiavo says he is carrying out his wife's wishes that she not be kept alive artificially.

The Schindlers' attorney, Pat Anderson, had asked the appeals court to remove Circuit Court Judge George W. Greer from the case, and filed an emergency motion seeking a stay and therapy for Terri to determine if she can eat on her own.

On Monday protesters began an around-the-clock vigil outside the hospice where she lives.

Not to mention he lives with another woman and the circumstances of Terri's "collpase" are suspicious in the first place. This needs to get national media attention, and, I hope Terri's family makes this plea to Schiavo to "let him have the money" on TV too. Let everyone see the truth about this S.O.B.

Where to begin. First of all, a name search for Schiavo will yield a bunch of background info right on FR, also go to http://www.terrisfight.org for a whole lot more info.

Now the highlights -

Terri's husband said in court a couple years after her accident that he loved his wife and wanted to take care of her for the rest of his life but he lacked the means, and so therefore any settlement would be used for her care. At the time of his testimony, he had a girlfriend, unbeknownst to the court. He was awarded somewhere around 1-2 million.

A year later he refused to allow treatment of a potentially fatal illness and so it started. He stopped all forms of rehabilitative therapy and limited treatment to the bare minimum. He !suddenly! remembered that "one time" she said "something about" not wanting to "live like that" when watching "some movie" (he forgets what it was) about someone on life support. Of course at the time, FL law did not allow removal of food tubes, so she couldn't have meant that, but no matter.

He subsequently denied access to her family and her priest, moved her to a hospice facility (even though she didn't meet hospice guidelines, not being terminally ill) and retained the services of a lawyer who just happened to be a recent board chairman of the same hospice.

He was allowed by the judge to spend her medical fund on lawyers fees accumulated in the process of fighting her family to have her killed, and the same judge denied the family any attempt to teach her to self feed. The judge also refused to look at most video evidence and himself has never once visited Terri.

While this was going on, Michael the loving husband got engaged, moved in with his fiance, had a child with her and has another on the way.

The family insists all they want is their daughter, that he can have whatever money from her settlement remains. He inexplicably refuses to grant them custody.

Judge Greer, defying all logic, continues to rule completely against them at every turn, applying FL statute retroactively in her case regarding removal of food tube, allowing Michael to remain guardian even though FL law indicates it should be an unbiased person (his bias is overwhelming), taking his word that she would want this (who would want to be slowly dehydrated and starved to death?), and ignoring any outside pleas for reconsideration from no less than the likes of Gov Jeb Bush.

Terri is not dying, she is disabled. This is irrefutable.

How's that for starters?

Separation of executive and judicial. You can't have 50 governors second-guessing every state or circuit court decision nation-wide.

However, I bet Jeb is working silently behind the scenes to find a way. I'll bet the murder doesn't start tomorrow....or at least I desperately hope it doesn't.

Here is what I pray. I pray that Terri, after having the tube removed, miraculously somehow stays alive. That she doesn't suffer, and eventually that they have to hook her back up. That her ..husband... has to pay for all of it, and has to do so for the rest of his life.

As WorldNetDaily reported, the Schindlers have been fighting with their son-in-law for 10 years over the lack of care and therapy Schiavo provided for their daughter, who suffered massive brain damage when she collapsed at her home 13 years ago under mysterious circumstances at the age of 26.

Precursor of the Laci Peterson case except the trauma inflicted on Laci killed her immediately, whereas this woman didn't die as planned.

Maybe I'm stupid, but why is it so cruel to put a mass murder to death and yet it's ok to starve a helpless women to death.

If this was being done to a dog, there would be all kinds of lawsuits, protest, ACLU involvement, etc..

The judge and her husband(?) are nothing but murders themselves.

May they both have eternal nightmares of the suffering this poor innocent women must endure before the LORD wecomes her home in the house he has prepared for her.
