Angel Reese vs. Caitlin Clark remains spicy. The Chicago Sky rookie forward was called for a flagrant 1 foul after hitting Clark in the head during their matchup on Sunday.

Caitlin Clark was smacked on the head by Angel Reese and subjected to more rough treatment by her Chicago Sky rivals on Sunday, causing Dave Portnoy to lead the outrage. Clark and the Indiana Fever played Chicago on Sunday for the first time since the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft was brutally bodychecked by Chennedy Carter earlier this month. The Fever won that first meeting 71-70 on June 1 but the game was overshadowed by Sky guard Carter's hip-check foul on Clark before an inbounds play. It was ruled a common foul, only to be upgraded to...

After only three months in the WNBA, the white heterosexual Caitlin Clark has already become the star of the league and has racked up a growing number of records, not the least of which is some of the highest viewership that the WNBA has ever had. But despite the fact that her stats are better than any other player this season, the majority black committee tasked with picking players for Team USA ignored her and excluded her from the team. Why? Because she is white and not a lesbian.

As my colleague Bonchie covered, college basketball phenom Caitlin Clark is receiving a rough welcome to the WNBA. She’s been receiving hard—dangerous—fouls at an alarming rate. Why? You be the judge. But it certainly seems like jealousy and resentment are the driving forces behind much of the hate she’s received. She’s deserving of her accolades; this is not someone who’s getting attention just for her looks or for her social media profile—she’s the real deal: Top-seeded Iowa, which reached the NCAA title game for the second consecutive season, ended the season at 34-5. Clark finished with 30 points Sunday -...

Chennedy Carter refused to explain - or answer questions about - her brutal bodycheck on Caitlin Clark following the Indiana Fever's WNBA victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday. Carter shoved Clark to the ground, with television replays appearing to show her yelling 'you b***h' at Clark before knocking her rival to the ground.

Caitlin Clark has brought unprecedented attention to women’s basketball. And plenty of women’s basketball players seem to resent her for it. Clark took an away-from-the-ball cheap shot, possibly preceded by this message from her assailant: “You’re a bitch.” It’s a bizarre situation, to say the least (The more responsible move is to not escalate the situation, and to let the powers-that-be handle it. It remains to be seen whether the powers-that-be will.)

A maniac ignited a cup of liquid and hurled it at a stranger on a Manhattan subway Saturday, setting fire to the man’s shirt and burning his chest and neck, cops said. The terrifying episode is the second time in four months someone tossed flaming liquid at a straphanger — and authorities are investigating whether the same fire bug is to blame in both incidents. The latest incident unfolded as the No. 1 train was pulling into the Houston Street station at West Houston and Varick Streets around 2:45 p.m.

Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey on Thursday said he is investigating the office of Democratic Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas after it reportedly “doxxed” Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker in an X (formerly Twitter) post. The alleged leaking of Butker’s personal information came days after he gave the commencement address at Benedictine College in Kansas over the weekend. There, Butker encouraged graduates at the small Catholic college to “be authentically and unapologetically Catholic.” He also spoke positively about marriage and motherhood, but criticized the abortion industry and the LGBTQ movement. Bailey wrote to Lucas in a letter dated...
