Since the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade, states have been allowed to pass their own abortion laws. As certain states began to pass stronger protections for preborn human beings, other states began to eliminate protections — and ‘abortion travel’ became a hot-button issue. Some companies began funding abortion travel as a “benefit” to employees, and abortion funds began to pay for airfare, hotels, and the like in order to assist women living in pro-life states to obtain abortions in states where abortion was more available. Since that time, the Guttmacher Institute...

INDIANA — Attorney General Todd Rokita cautioned local officials in several Indiana cities and counties that he will pursue legal action against them after July 1 if they refuse to follow laws aimed at apprehending illegal immigrants. Attorney General Rokita’s office sent a blunt message to officials in East Chicago, Gary, West Lafayette and Monroe County: Confirm you have rescinded local policies that enable illegal immigration — or face swift legal consequences starting July 1. “The flood of illegal immigrants entering the United States is a problem that harms all of us,” Attorney General Rokita said. “The ones paying the...

If Indiana is truly the “crossroads of America,” perhaps the stunning upset from grassroots activists at the state’s Republican convention over the weekend will serve as a crossroads for conservatives after wandering in the desert of failed primary challenges for years. On Saturday, despite strong backing from the state GOP establishment, GOP gubernatorial nominee Senator Mike Braun, and Donald Trump himself, RINO state Rep. Julie McGuire lost the lieutenant governor nomination to evangelical pastor Micah Beckwith by a narrow margin of 891-828 votes. Unlike in popular primaries where Trump and the establishment usually dominate against conservatives, conventions often yield different...

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police closed a 45-year-old cold case Monday. It was all thanks to one woman. Tommie Lee Hill was convicted of a string of sex crimes in Michigan and Indiana, and detectives spoke with other victims in Pennsylvania. Officials said his crimes include raping his young stepdaughters, assault with intent to murder, burglary, firearms and counterfeiting. He was on the run for 37 years. Joe Garrett, a Grand Rapids Police officer and U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force member, first began investigating Hill's case in 2017. The FBI had handled it previously. In the 1960s,...
  • Indiana Sees Incredible 98% Drop in Abortions Thanks to Abortion Ban

The Indiana Department of Health’s recent report revealed a 98% decrease in abortions in the state of Indiana. The report detailed 45 abortions during the first 2024 quarter, a tremendous reform compared to the 1,931 abortions committed in the first quarter of 2023. This means 1,886 babies are alive in Indiana who may not have been at this time last year. These are encouraging numbers. But Indiana’s abortion industry is actively threatening the laws that made this victory possible. The same day the Indiana Department of Health released its report, Planned Parenthood argued in court to challenge Indiana’s Pro-Life laws....

The temporary pools came from northern Italy. The two million gallons of water came from a fire hydrant on South Capitol Ave., via 6,000 feet of piping that snakes through an NFL stadium. The swimmers will come from all over the United States, and step onstage near what’s usually the 45-yard line. And from June 15-23 in Indianapolis, they’ll take part in a grand, unprecedented experiment — all while trying to qualify for the Olympics. It’s “crazy,” Bobby Finke, a 2021 gold medalist, said of the plan for this year’s U.S. Olympic swimming trials — crazy in a good way....

For years, a peaceful, million-dollar farm in Indiana hid a dark secret: It was a serial killer’s playground. When cops finally raided Herb Baumeister’s 18-acre property in Westfield, north of Indianapolis, they uncovered some 10,000 pieces of human remains — mostly crushed and burned skeletal fragments of the teenage boys and young men whom he had abducted and murdered in the 1980s and ’90s. Nearly 30 years after Baumeister killed himself while on the run from police, authorities are still sifting through the remains and identifying victims.

FIRST ON FOX: Former Vice President Mike Pence reacted on Friday to the criminal conviction of former President Donald Trump in a New York City courtroom and said a "terrible message" has been sent. "The conviction of former President Trump on politically motivated charges is an outrage and disservice to the nation," Pence told Fox News Digital. "No one is above the law, but our courts must not become a tool to be used against political opponents," Pence continued. "To millions of Americans, this was nothing more than a political prosecution driven by a Manhattan DA who ran for office...

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg attempted to justify the progress on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, prompting a laugh from CBS’s “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brenna. After $7.5 billion of taxpayers’ money being plowed into the initiative, just a “handful” of charging stations have been built. The interview took a comedic turn when Brennan pointed out the discrepancy between the investment made back in 2021 and the reality of the results. Just seven or eight charging stations have been built despite billions being spent, according to the Federal Highway Administration, “Why isn’t that happening more quickly?” asked Brennan. Buttigieg responded...

A gunman has filmed himself opening fire in a supermarket after hunting around the store for 'someone good' - and failing to hit them. Richard Klaff, 20, broadcast the shooting live on Facebook as he prepared for and carried out the attack on a Kroger in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He began about 6.15pm on Thursday by lighting up a cigar in a bathroom upstairs from the Georgetown Kroger, claiming 'I'm gonna shoot 11 people... watch'. He cocked the pistol several times before heading downstairs and wandering around the supermarket looking for the right target. 'Which one am I gonna choose?...

That’s a wrap. An Indiana judge has seemingly settled the highly-disputed sandwich definition debate after ruling that tacos and burritos fit the bill during a recent legal case. “Tacos and burritos are Mexican-style sandwiches,” hero-ic Allen Superior Judge Craig J. Bobay declared in the ruling, per a court document blowing up online. The wrap battle was sparked in 2022 after restaurateur Martin Quintana unveiled plans to open his restaurant The Famous Taco Mexican Grill in the 11,000-square-foot Quintana strip mall in Fort Wayne, CBS 4 reported. The Allen County Planning commission rejected his bid based on a prior “written commitment”...

A 10-year-old boy in Indiana killed himself after a two-year bullying campaign which his parents claim his school failed to stop, despite contacting school officials 20 times in a year. Sammy Teusch, aged 10, of Greenfield, Indiana, died by suicide on Sunday, May 5, according to an interview his parents, Sam and Nichole Teusch, gave to 13 News WTHR. They claim Sammy, one of four siblings, took his own life after enduring constant bullying which had become increasingly physical and which Greenfield Intermediate School had done little to address. Sammy’s parents claimed in the interview that the bullying started two...

A ten-year-old boy took his own life after suffering horrific bullying at school, with his family saying he had warned officials 20 times about the ongoing abuse. Sammy Teusch, from Greenfield, Indiana, died by suicide on May 5 and according to his family, was being bullied up until the night he passed away. His parents Sam and Nichole say he was both physically and emotionally bullied at school, with Sammy being recently beaten up on a school bus. A federal judge has struck down an Indiana law which had prohibited health care providers from giving information to minors about how to obtain an abortion out-of-state without parental consent. Known as the “aid-or-assist statute,” the law protected minors from being coerced into abortions, especially without parental consent. The legislation was challenged by Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky Inc. (PPGNHAIK) in a push for more abortion — even if minors are at risk. U.S. District Court Judge Sarah Barker sided with PPGNHAIK, saying that the law would violate the First Amendment if enforced against the health care...

A pro-life organization is suing the Indiana Department of Health, saying that the agency’s decision to no longer release abortion records is shielding abortion businesses from public accountability. The organization Voices for Life filed the public complaint in Marion County Superior Court against the Indiana Department of Health and State Health Commissioner Dr. Lindsay Weaver on May 1. Represented by the Thomas More Society, Voices for Life contends that the health department’s refusal to release abortion records is violating the state’s own Access to Public Records Act. According to its press release, Voices for Life has been reviewing abortion records...

Having a discussion with Mark Messmer candidate for 8th Congressional District on FB. The issue at hand is his voting record concerning illegal immigrants in Indiana. 1st issue is his support of a "Driver's Card" for illegals which died in commitee and therefore produces no voteing record. The 2nd issue is SB 135 in the year 2022 concerning in-state tuition for illegals at State Schools. The record I found at "Smart Vote.com" says he voted NAY, however a FOX NEWS report says he co-sponsered the bill. Does anyone have the facts on these two bills?
