U.S. Sen. Susan Collins all but said she would vote “no” on an Affordable Care Act repeal bill on Friday morning at an event in Portland.
“I’m leaning against the bill,” the Maine Republican said after listing a series of serious deficiencies in the Graham-Cassidy repeal bill.
“I’m just trying to do what I believe is the right thing for the people of Maine,” Collins said.
She said Graham-Cassidy undermines pre-existing conditions, a major flaw in the bill.
“I’m reading the fine print on Graham-Cassidy,” Collins said. She said insurers could charge sky-high rates to people with pre-existing conditions. “The premiums would be so high they would be unaffordable,”

Rand Paul is a no vote because he wants his libertarian utopia. Now Collins is a no vote so the GOP has zero margin.
There is no repeal in the bill.

Maine is not going to do all that well when the default program, Obamacare, goes bust.

The individual and employer mandate are repealed in this bill. That alone is huge. Block grants are much, much better than as is as it lets states experiment.

ACA will never die because the exchanges are such a small part of who is effected. The medicaid expansion has as many people as the exchanges and the employer/employee mandate effected far more people than either of those two things.
McConnell should resign
If she’s trying to right by the people of Maine she should resign.
They are altered, not repealed.
None of the structure of Obamacare is repealed.
Repairing Obamacare is what this bill is.
