Hillary’s communications team decamped to the Javits Center in the Hell’s Kitchen section of Manhattan, where preparations for her victory party were being made. The venue, which would fill with Hillary aides, donors, friends and well-wishers over the course of the day, was chosen in large part because of its distinctive feature: a glass ceiling. If everything went as planned, it would be the glass ceiling of the presidency that lay shattered under Hillary by the end of the night.
A handful of key aides remained in the campaign’s Brooklyn headquarters for Election Night, but the top brass, including [campaign manager] Robby Mook, John Podesta, and Cheryl Mills, joined Hillary and Bill Clinton on their floor at the top of The Peninsula hotel, a five-star facility a block from Trump Tower. The Clintons had their own suite, and the rest of the floor had been rented out for staff workspace and for aides, including Podesta and Abedin, to have private bedrooms.
At the start of the night, the Javits Center was electric: it had the buzz of a debut performance on Broadway. Outside, a seemingly endless line formed down 40th Street, near artists who had sketched Hillary’s portrait next to Obama’s and vendors who sold buttons....

Absolutely. And I agree with you about the white washing of the campaign. For example, there are a few tidbits here and there where the truth came out; such as her tirade after Matt Lauer asked her some fair but tough questions; questions in which she was not prepared for since she was to only be asked softballs.
It was and is just as delicious watching the left wing media continue to try to deal with this.

That was an incredible moment...tossed that fat ass right in there.
Glass ceilings have been broken all over the world. Does this mean anything about the United States? No. But it does mean that suitable candidates have yet to present themselves.
I still like a candidate with some military experience.
And...they didn’t see the prophetic word in the fact that the glass ceiling’s building was located in HELL’S KITCHEN. TRUTH.

If you analyze the infamous video. There is an audible grunt (from HRC) followed by a clinging of dropped (high quality) metal. Just before the grunt there is someone saying “ready”
“Ready? Grunt, clang”

Probably the same. They financed 20% of her campaign. $950,000 is probably the interest they make in a second.

I worked a bit with politics, directly for the Younger campaign in California and peripherally with the Reagan campaign.
With political campaigns EVERYTHING is cash and carry and cash up front. ALWAYS! No matter what the polls say, since the campaign after the election has no particular reason to return your calls no matter the outcome.
The venues got paid. And I am sure that included insurance for the famous hiLIARy “after party.”

In my humble opinion Kelly Anne Conway out Clintoned the Clintons’.
Clintons were so certain that it had it in the bag they began actually reporting vote totals before Trump’s team. That was their undoing.
Dems always report last to see how many they need to stuff or steal.
I believe Hillary’s camp may have known they were going to lose a few days before the election. That is why they cancelled the fireworks over the Hudson. The supporters however were in the dark. That’s why they were so shattered.
