Chris Wallace to Sen. Coons: McCarthyism to Accuse Trump Of Russian Collusion, Where's Evidence?
Real Clear Politics ^ | March 5, 2017 | Ian Schwartz

FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace tells Democratic Senator Chris Coons that continued talk of collusion between Trump and Russia has a whiff of McCarthyism. He asked if the point of this continued talk, that has gone on for months, is an attempt to derail Trump's agenda.

Coons would concede to Wallace that he has "no hard evidence of collusion."

CHRIS WALLACE, FOX NEWS SUNDAY: Why would you suggest in that clip that I just played for Senator Cotton that there are FBI transcripts that show, and I want to get your words, "provide very critical insights" in the collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians?

SEN. CHRIS COONS (D-DE): What I was trying to make clear, Chris, and I appreciate a chance to restate this, is that I don't have, and I don't know of, any conclusive proof one way or the other about whether there was collusion between senior levels of the Trump campaign and Russian officials. But I believe that our intelligence community, which is the most sophisticated in the world, has intercepts, has raw intelligence, and it's important that the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is conducting an investigation be given access to those intercepts, to transcripts of those intercepts, so that they can get to the bottom of this.

The American people, Chris, want us to move forward. They want us to work together in Washington and it's important for us to remember that the Russians are our adversaries. Republicans and Democrats, we have different political agendas, different political views, but we can and should work together to make sure that what intelligence there is, is gotten access to by the intelligence committee....

“I HOLD IN MY HAND A LIST OF 100 POLITICIANS WHO ARE KNOWN FREEPERS!!!” :)

Wishful thinking on my part.

It’s troubling trying to contemplate just how low they really are. Parasites should be a sub-category of liberals.
They believe that American capitalist freedom culture is the greatest evil ever visited on the face of the earth. They believe that, as a result, no action, no lie, no betrayal is off limits or immoral. They have convinced themselves that the vast “crime” of western civilization and particularly America is so evil, so grotesque, so corrosive and pernicious and inhuman, that absolutely anything that the imagination can conceive is justified in the struggle to gain enough power to defeat it.

This is their reasoning. Many of them are very damaged, unhappy, frustrated, alienated souls who feel that the world hates them, and therefore they have the right to hate the world. They displace their hatred of themselves on to the whole world, on to society at large.

In many cases they believe that the best way they can redeem themselves and imbue their lives with some meaning is to fight relentlessly against that which society calls “normality,” even to the point of destroying themselves.

I agree that they have no meaning in their lives but I do not see that they have any kind of solid value system other than their passion and drive toward absolute power over others and that is why they hate capitalism. It prevents them from having the power they lust for. Look at the obsession in this country with the pursuit of pleasure and the destruction of morality. Look at their lack of horror at the holocaust of abortion. I have watched them for a long time, ever since I decided to leave their party because of the hypocrisy I saw in Democrats close by. I think their motivations are driving them to have a world with no sexual boundaries and they need absolute power to get that, especially those who lust for children. Sometimes I can hardly bear watching them continue to do what they do with only half this population rising up to try and stop it. “The swamp” is too soft a phrase to describe what lies within those black hearts. They will be stopped only when enough of the hedonistic truth comes out so that the human decency in a majority of our people rise up to demand that it be stopped. What they lust for the most is to literally remove everyone who does not think like they do. This is the core of political correctness and, make no mistake, they would execute those very people if they could get away with it and, if the truth about the blocking of this President from doing what he promised does not come out, we are in grave danger and should pray for people who are willing to tell the public what they know. The Democrats seem way too desperate to hide something very devastating and I think they know that President Trump knows a lot about the secrets they desperately want hidden from the public.

"The Republicans should...."

If I had a $10 dollar bill for every time I've read a sentence that starts with the above I'd be living in a tropical paradise.

That’s par for Delaware politicians. I love the state and most of its folks; but the politicians? Joe Biden, Exhibit-A. Chris Coons, Exhibit-B.

There is no evidence and the Dems know it! The Republicans should start calling everyone of these guys out to put up or shut up.

It is to late for that. Dems used an outside source(refusing to allow the FBI see their server) to say Russians were colluding with Trump, to have a FISA court allow spying on the campaign of the opposite party.

Obama administration used intelligence from, a democrat paid outside consultant(and they only use democrats they can trust for that type of work), to go after Trump and a court agreed to allow it. This whole thing has been fake...it is a horrible misuse of government by a political party.

Trump isn’t going to get to the bottom of anything unless he has some reliable people at the DOJ (and other cabinet positions) starting with deputy AG.

115th Congress, 1st Session
The tentative schedule for 2017 has been announced.
Jan 3 Convene
Jan 16 Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
Feb 20 - Feb 24 State Work Period Presidents’ Day- Feb 20
Mar 16 - Mar 17 State Work Period
Apr 10 - Apr 21 State Work Period
May 29 - Jun 2 State Work Period Memorial Day- May 29
Jul 3 - Jul 7 State Work Period Independence Day- Jul 4
Jul 31 - Sep 4 State Work Period Labor Day- Sep 4
Sep 21 - Sep 22 State Work Period
Oct 9 - Oct 13 State Work Period Columbus Day- Oct 9
Nov 10 Veterans’ Day (observed)
Nov 20 - Nov 24 State Work Period Thanksgiving Day- Nov 23
Dec 18 - Dec 29 State Work Period

He needs to get rid of the 0bama/Klintoon moles and make many recess appointments. It looks like he will have to cycle these yearly over the next 4 years. Congressional investigations have been worthless and a special persecutor will focus more on Trump than 0bama.

I’ll see you those and raise you Liz Warren and Ed Markey. IF it wasn’t for fishing and family, I’d be living somewhere warm.

Remember Dan Rather and his famous quote that it is the seriousness of the charge that needs to investigated regardless of the lack of evidence.

In fact it is the complete lack of evidence that is so troublesome.

Thanks, but I fail to see where those 3 judges that are identified in your graphic approved the wiretap. The following is the hurdle I am trying to overcome. I am leaning to the opinion that the graphic is fictitious on that point.

According to Wiki:

"Proceedings before the FISA court are ex parte and non-adversarial. The court hears evidence presented solely by the Department of Justice. There is no provision for a release of information regarding such hearings, or for the record of information actually collected.....

FISC meets in secret, and approves or denies requests for search warrants. Only the number of warrants applied for, issued and denied, is reported."
