3 Reasons Trump Could Put Cruz on the Supreme Court
The Fiscal Times ^ | November 22, 2016 | Ciro Scotti

On the list of surprising visitors calling on president-elect Donald Trump last week, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas ranks right up there with alleged Secretary of State candidate Mitt Romney.

While Romney who called Trump a “phony” and talked openly about derailing his candidacy during the campaign had an actual job attached to the meeting with his former nemesis on Saturday, Cruz’s visit was billed as more of a drop-by.

It’s true that after the name-calling between Cruz and Trump (who tagged him “Lyin’ Ted’) during the primary campaign; after Trump’s derogatory comments about Cruz’s wife; after Trump’s suggestion that Cruz’s father had a role in the JFK assassination; and after Cruz neglected to endorse Trump at the Republican National convention, they did in the end come together. In September, Cruz finally endorsed Trump and campaigned for him....

It is unknown if his mother was a citizen when Ted was born. She qualified for expedited Canadian citizen since her husband had taken out Canadian citizenship. There is also some question if she was even legally married to Ted’s Dad. So many questions. There is some evidence showing she took Canadian citizen. Ted Cruz should just let things lie, or he may find out he is not a U.S. citizen. He did not renounced his Canadian citizenship until he was running for office.

Actually that is not even my issue. You see, I had to get over it because Trump won the R primary, and I wasn’t about to vote for Satan’s spawn in a pantsuit. What is crazy is the continued attacks on Cruz. He has an excellent legal history and would be excellent on the high Court. I just do not understand the animous against him, when it all seems to be political attack garbage.

No I beg to disagree. She co-wrote a Globalist manifesto and her contribution to that proposal, “Building a North American Community” (BNAC), included the statement that global governance should supersede American Governmental authority. American government would ideally represent a lower authority for housekeeping of the North/South American continent.

I have posted chapter & verse on this too many times already. This reference would get an interested person started on finding out the truth:

I can’t recall him saying anything particular about Mrs. Cruz, except posting a picture of her opposite a picture of Melania...and, of course, Melania was so gorgeous...no competition. And I seem to recall if may have been Cruz who started it...water under the bridge now.

If you are sincere in wishing to understand the ongoing hostility toward Cruz, I can explain it.

I was talking about Ted not Heidi. So to change the subject, are you ok with Trump giving the Clinton’s a free pass?

Go for it. Cause I do not get it. It looks like Trump is willing to forgive the Clinton’s, but some Trump supporters are not willing to forgive Cruz.

I don’t understand it either. Cruz is the OUTSIDER. There is a #NeverCruz clan that is deranged. Trump won. Now just quit the anger and be friends. We need all the friends we can get.

Trump retweeted that comparison after the smear merchant—Cruz’ personally selected campaign manager, Jeff Roe—bought the rights to one of Melania’s modeling photos and illegally passed it along to their SuperPac for mass distribution. Trump quickly deleted the retweet.

It was Conway, not Trump, who said prosecution of Hillary would not be pursued. Trump said it’s still on the table.

.
Has he forgiven Trump for all the stunts, bogus stories and lies?

Seems a strange relationship to me.

Vindictive Cruz would likely rule that persons named Donald cannot be President.

The Justice Department is involved. The situation is very complex because Ms Clinton has broken so many different types of laws, Federal, State, racketeering.

The idiots who are trying to press Trump for an answer are going to be very frustrated. Trump is going to let things play out behind the scenes and if his Justice Department finds evidence of crimes that warrant prosecution that is what will happen. Just as he spoke about the Obama policy of specifying when troops would withdraw as being assinine, Trump is not going to telegraph his moves re Ms Clinton.

This is just one example. In New Hampshire, Cruz ran an ad (with the personal approval quote from him attached) saying Trump had made himself rich by using eminent domain. This was such a nasty, vicious lie, it’s hard to break it all down.

First, Trump never made one penny from using eminent domain. Not one cent. It was a one-hundred-percent lie told by a person claiming to be the Christian candidate, and put out in hopes of utterly destroying Trump in the minds of anyone who believed it.

Second, the only eminent domain case Trump had anything to do with lost. Contrary to the ad, the woman kept her house. It was not demolished [until years later, when she voluntarily sold it for a fraction of what Trump had offered her].

Thirdly, private citizens cannot use eminent domain. Only the state can. Supposed Constitutional scholar Cruz tried to convince voters that not only could Trump use eminent domain personally, but that he could make billions by putting old ladies out of their homes. It was simply evil—and not something that’s easily forgotten.

I hope it’s allowed that along the way I can also correct the current smear going around re Trump?

Oh get over yourself...Trump posted a picture of of Cruz's mentally ill wife next to one of Melania.

It's over, Teddy destroyed himself.

I have immediate family and friend living in Texas; unlike you, I know what I'm talking about.

You're just still drunk on Cruz-Aide; poor thing.
