Hillary Clinton says she is open to making first lady Michelle Obama a member of her Cabinet should she become president.
Shes made it pretty clear she wants to focus on important issues like girls education around the world she and I actually talked about it when we were together in Winston-Salem [N.C.] and I want to be the best partner I can be for whenever she wants to be involved in government again, she said in an interview with Extra released Monday.
I think she wants to take a break from it, but if she ever wants to do anything like that, I would be the number-one person.
Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, added that she admires Obamas work both in the White House and on the campaign trail.
Well, I dont know how anybody could have done what shes done for the last eight years with more grace and more of a sense of purpose but inclusivity, she said.
Shes been an exemplary first lady, and I know how hard that job is, added Clinton, who is herself a former first lady. "So I feel so close to her and Im so appreciative of all the help shes giving me, all the confidence and courage, because its hard.
President Obama said last Friday his wife would never run for office, despite her high-profile role in the 2016 race.
She is as talented and brilliant a person as there is and I could not be prouder of her, but Michelle does not have the patience or the inclination to actually be a candidate herself, he said of Michelle Obama on the Sway in the Morning satellite radio show. "Thats one thing yall can take to the bank.
Michelle Obama has emerged as one of Clintons major surrogates after several powerful speeches promoting the former secretary of State.
The first lady grabbed headlines earlier this month, for example, by delivering a stinging rebuke to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trumps past behavior toward women.
My God. If this isn’t a cry for help to zero what is?
Obvious collusion, blatant pay off, blatant fraud, blatant crime, blatant felony.
Hilly is desparate...
Hill sounds she’s after Moose’s Knuckle.
Does she eat pandercakes for breakfast?
As if we really needed another reason not to vote for her....
Great...we will have two people in gov who can’t stop talking about themselves.
I don’t think this will help her.
ROTFL!!! You mean you’re going to use her to clean your cabinets.
“Hereya...Blackie, Blackie...Blackie... Missa got ya some watermelon and corn bread ta eats, It shor be good”
She is beyond desperate...her base is fleeing
Another no-show job?
Then we’d have two women in her administration who got where they are by marrying the right person.
She’s starting to sound pathetically desperate now. She knows Michelle Obama remains wildly popular with blacks and liberal women, while she herself is so bitterly unlikable and growing more so by the day.
That one is going to be given a Senate seat, like her husband was. And the plan is to likewise use it to catapult another completely unqualified human failure into the presidency of a third-world America.
Not a word of condemnation against Muslim’s raping girls.
Talk about transparency...Stevie Wonder could see thru that one.
How quickly they forget........ the Obama family and inner circle despise the Clintons.
Bill Clinton helped sink his wife’s chances for an endorsement from Ted Kennedy by belittling Barack Obama as nothing but a race-based candidate.
“A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee,” the former president told the liberal lion from Massachusetts, according to the gossipy new campaign book, “Game Change.”
The book says Kennedy was deeply offended and recounted the conversation to friends with fury.
After Kennedy sided with Obama, Clinton reportedly griped, “the only reason you are endorsing him is because he’s black. Let’s just be clear.”
She lies again. She does not want either Obama within a mile of her administration. Neither does Bill who has never forgiven Obama for taking what was “rightfully theirs” in 2008.
Yes, let’s pander to the black voter by associating with one of the biggest racists to ever occupy the White House.
