RICHMOND — Republican Donald Trump, never short on campaign shockers, pulled one off Saturday simply by setting foot in Virginia.

Trump’s rally in Virginia Beach, part of a renewed push here that included a $2 million television ad buy, flabbergasted political analysts and GOP strategists who’ve considered the swing state off the table for months.

Trailing Democrat Hillary Clinton by double digits in the latest Virginia polls, Trump will dispatch key surrogates — his children — for series of visits to Northern Virginia this week. His campaign said Trump and runningmate Mike Pence will return to the state “a lot” before Election Day....

It seems to me in an honest election, Trump would win Michigan by the largest margin of those four states.

But have heard rumors of high vote fraud there.

Not certain if that is true though since Trump did well there in primary, and Cankles got her a** kicked.

I thought NV was close. Hillary sending President Obama out there even

Speaking of Nevada....

NOT that I ‘miss’ him, but surprisingly Reid has been fairly silent....
May have been more to that ‘beating’ other than him & his brother fighting over the last turkey leg...

Amazing how these egomaniacs think they are ‘ruling the world’ and their own family can’t ‘stand’ them...

Reminds me of the young(14yo) bride from the troglodyte world announcing to her groom she had ‘never done it’ and the grooms father said
“Thats it. We are leaving. She ain’t good enough for family, she ain’t good enough for us”

It is. Clinton is up in most polls but usually within the margin of error. If Trump can take Nevada and Colorado then he doesn't need Virginia.

"It’s called internal polling."

Or a bluff to put pressure on Hillary to pump in more money on a State she may have in the bag. Many Virginia area FReepers say the state is getting bluer because of all the Washington D.C. workers are moving there and commuting to work.

Who knows, maybe there is a "Monster Vote" out there waiting to be unleashed. All I know is I wish Nov. 8th would get here fast.

Trump confounds many Republicans with last-minute push in Virginia

B.S. Trump spoke to about 10,000 people at Regent University in VA Beach on Saturday. He was joined by the 2nd Dist GOP Congressional candidate Scott Taylor, and by the candidate for Governor Frank Wagner and the candidate for Attorney General Chuck Smith. They didn't look confounded to me.

Politicians with a lot of money to spend are expected to spread it around; kickbacks to relatives and friends of allies, straightforward spending in order to have a coattails effect, etc.

Surely, Washington, Madison, Jefferson, and all the other Virginians who advocated for individual liberty, and against government power, are applauding his effort to keep the "Progressive" regressives from taking America (and Virginia) back to the Old World ideas which preceded 1776 and 1787.

In 1774 in "Resolutions of Committee for the Province of Pennsylvania"which constituted "Instructions from the Committee to the Representatives in Assembly" of Pennsylvania as drafted by John Dickinson, a signer of the Constitution and distinguished in other respects as a leader in the period 1774-1787, as excerpted:

"Honour, justice and humanity call upon us to hold, and to transmit to our posterity, that liberty, which we received from our ancestors. It is not our duty to leave wealth to our children: but it is our duty, to leave liberty to them. No infamy, iniquity, or cruelty, can exceed our own, if we, born and educated in a country of freedom, intitled to its blessings, and knowing their value, pusillanimously deserting the post assigned to us by Divine Providence, surrender succeeding generations to a condition of wretchedness, from which no human efforts, in all probability, will be sufficient to extricate them; the experience of all states mournfully demonstrating to us, that when arbitrary power has been established over them, even the wisest and bravest nations, that ever flourished, have, in a few years, degenerated into abject and wretched vassals." "1774 Resolutions of Committee for the Province of Pennsylvania"

Trump campaign ran ads here in N.Virginia during the evening news casts on local CBS,ABC,Fox and NBC stations last week for several evenings. His campaign also ran an ad on the Bravo Channel during some chick flick movie at 2:00am on Sunday that I saw as well. So much for the big lie about Trump pulling out of Virginia. Never trust the lying liars news media.

And the GOPe wonder why they lost the last two election cycles with Romney and McCain. Damned defeatists, all of them.

A fun off topic little bit. I was at the Jeff Dunham comedy show Sunday afternoon in Norfolk, about 4 to 5000 in attendance. He asked the question for the crowd to make a noise if you were for HRC or Trump. The crowd was like 70% Trump. Jeff said that every venue he has been in this year, has the same results. He said that included at Carnegie Hall in New York the night before. Of course Jeff is not known to be politically correct.

I noticed that Hannity firmly believes the polling, even after Wikileaks email where Podesta describes how the pollls with be corrupted. Hannithy seems to have lost his mind. Maybe Fox News got to him.

I used to work non-public employees union in CA and they always sent buses of people to help in NV to elect democrats. Some of them would brag about registration in NV to vote because CA doesn’t need them. Lots of illegals working in LV

Texas is not going Hillary! I just sat down for a late lunch with 8 women after a golf game. They were furious at the media and hated Hillary. Nobody thought Trump a good candidate but definitely better than Hillary and very determined to vote!

Forgive me if I don’t see reports of long lines in lefty Broward and Orlando as being a good sign. The Cultural Marxist “press” has been pushing the idea that Trump is the new Hitler on behalf of their partisan allies, the DNC and the Hillary campaign, since last year. Low-information, gullible leftists don’t have to be excited about Hillary in order to be eager to get out to the polls to vote against Trump.

I’d like to think that the “press’s” ridiculous propaganda and distortions against Trump wouldn’t influence anyone, but I’ve known far too many leftwingers and far too many LIVs to believe that. These are also not the sorts who would ever sit through a full Trump rally and find out what he’s really about without the “media’s” lies. Now if I were to hear about long lines in the Panhandle, SW FL, rural Northern FL, and probably even the Central FL suburbs, I really would take that as great news.
