Donald Trump makes a speech about the economy at The Economic Club of New York on Thursday. "Not one single idea she's got will create one net American job or create one new dollar of American wealth for our workers," Trump said of Hillary Clinton. "The only thing she can offer is a welfare check. That's about it. Our plan will produce paychecks and they're going to be great paychecks for millions of people now unemployed or underemployed."

Not true. What we need is 270 electoral votes. Many recent winners got less than 50% of the popular vote.

I have a relative who wants the welfare. They get by with $805 a month and share a house with another in Minnesota. Pay just $300 a month in rent.

This is the kind of phrase one would associate with winning campaigns.
It used to be easy to understand government finances.
Expenditures = Money From Taxes
We had control of the government then.
Our elected representatives controlled that money and the government employees had to pay attention to them.
Government out of control? Elect fiscal conservatives.
But now, we Taxpayers are competing with the Saudis and the Chinese and the Democrat printing press for the attention of the government employees.
I’m no expert, but maybe we should demand that government employee wages only be paid with Taxpayer money.
Though the way the government employees are stealing from every pot of money, I’m not sure that would work.
I’m sorry, but we are going to have to start hanging thieves or our country is finished.
