It's hard to think of a more irresistible morsel of dubious conventional wisdom than the claim that, driven by demographic change, the presidential electoral map now greatly favors the Democrats. The latest propagation of this myth is found in a long piece by National Review Online's chief political correspondent, Tim Alberta ("Does Donald Trump Have a Path to 270?"), from which Mark Levin read aloud at great length during his radio program on Tuesday. Levin, who has yet to say how he'll cast his vote for president, framed Alberta's piece as being authoritative in portraying dire straits for Donald Trump.
Alberta asserts that the Democrats "entered 2016 with a decided advantage" in the race to get to 270 electoral votes and asks whether Trump "has any realistic path to defeating Hillary Clinton." He immediately responds, "The answer, barring unforeseen and politically transcendent developments, is no." As Alberta explains it, this is largely because, even if Trump were to turn in "a series of virtuoso performances" in the upcoming debates—an unrealistically high bar for any candidate—he "would still be hampered by the one thing he cannot change: the Electoral College." In other words, Alberta claims, Trump likely wouldn't be able to scale "the blue wall" that holds Republicans' presidential hopes at bay.
In truth, however, this "blue wall" doesn't exist. The Electoral College does not give a clear advantage to either political party. Democrats have won the electoral vote in four of the past six presidential elections because they have won the popular vote in five of the past six presidential elections. Indeed, one need look back only four Olympiads—to the year of Michael Phelps's first Olympics—to find an example of a Democratic nominee losing the electoral vote despite winning the national popular vote—and by more than half a percentage point....

I am so fed up with Mark Levine.
He hates it when you spell and pronounce it Levine.
Trump will win back all the states Bush won in 2000, plus he will win PA, WI, MI, and NY.
All Trump has to do to win is to beat Mitt’s share of the vote in 2012.
This he will do very easily. Conversely, Hillary will draw far fewer votes than Obama.
And leading from behind on Labor Day is not a path to victory for her.
And no “selected not elected” BS this time.
If it ain’t close, they can’t cheat.
I wonder what the comparison is of the number of people who refused to vote for Romney to the number of Romney voters who refuse to vote for trump?
Of course, that doesn't count the number of people who will cross over and vote for Trump.
Some of you may be too young to remember when Trump was considered "America's most eligible bachelor." How many women of a certain age may vote for Trump because he was a catch when they were?
Levin is a traitor to conservatives, plain and simple. However effective or ineffective it is, the damage he's doing to Donald Trump's chances cannot be justified or rationalized. Such malicious behavior, at a moment when the Republic is clearly at stake, is unforgivable.
Mark Levin should be spending every moment of every broadcast informing Americans about the danger that Hillary Clinton represents to the Republic, and the damage Hillary's policies and judicial appointees will do if she wins.
Mark Levin should be supporting Trump wholeheartedly. Anything less than that only helps Hillary. He's insane.
And, of course, Trump's policy proposals are magnitudes better than Hillary's.

Not supporting Trump is outrageous for a guy who has sold thousands of books claiming he is a conservative and
patriot.
He’s a traitor to the cause. BTW, when I scanned a couple of his books at the library, I found his thoughts muddled. He doesn’t make himself clear.
Well, maybe now we know why: he needs to speak with a forked tongue because he’s go an agenda, and it’s globalist and Anti-America.

I dont like how Trump has to win BOTH PA and Michigan. How about Iowa/Missouri in place of Michigan. I feel better with that combo, but he would also have to win PA.
