Is there another short list out there? Many of us are hoping for Allen West or Chris Christie. Or will The Donald surprise us all with a woman? But which woman will he choose? Allen West would sure shake up and change the polling numbers for the better. Then Hillary would really be worried!

they basically sit around half asleep all day. the VP does basically nothing unless by some rare chance, there is a 50-50 vote in the senate.
Stephen Miller worked under Session so have lots of legislation experience even though he’s not elected. Currently policy advisor for Trump campaign

If Trump picks Cruz, he’s going to look quite erratic. He couldn’t possibly - how would he explain calling him Lyin’ Ted? Nah. Couldn’t possibly be Cruz. Nah. I hope not.
IIRC, Allen West wasn’t exactly a huge fan of Trump’s during the primary.
VPs are more than that today. Trump has been clear about his needs. West lost his seat in Congress, he has nothing to offer. I would think twice of Trump if West was his choice.
I doubt Trump picks a conservative as VP. More likely to be someone more like Trump ... a mini-Me of sorts.
I would like West or any choice with a strong military background... it’s going to be needed with the mess that Obama is leaving behind.
