Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are currently the presumed nominees of the Democratic and Republican party, however, Bernie Sanders and his devoted young supporters are not giving up just yet. They do have their various reasons, and among those is the thought that neither Trump nor Clinton compare well to Bernie from their point of view. If forced to make a decision between the two, which will they choose?

Donald Trump’s popularity among the under-30 crowd is not exactly soaring, as dislike for Hillary Clinton has reached new heights just this month. According to Fortune, 53 percent of people under 30 dislike Hillary. Fortune asserts their Clinton aversion is because of her establishment image and corporate ties.

“Local media here in LA interviewed these Sanders Commies at his rallies, they all said if Clinton is the nominee they will write in Sanders name”.

Have you seen what a PITA is is today to DO a write-in? I’ll bet those kids have never even voted.

I believe that the lack of paper ballots has been a boon for the Uniparty. Of course, it would be easy to do a “write-in” electronically, but, of course, the electronic voting systems aren’t flexible enough to do that - by design. Next, in order to save some time and expense, there will be just one selection for each office. In most cases, it really wouldn’t matter.

At one time, it was law that the Secretary of state, city clerk, and so on had to stand at a certain time/date on the steps of city hall or the state capitol and enumerate the vote tally with a public announcement. I loved that:

“Mickey Mouse - 323 votes”
“Micky A. Mouse - 12 votes”
“Mick Mouse” - 3 votes”
“Mikey Mouse” - 12 votes”
“Mr. Michael E. Mouse - 1 vote”

And of course, the people who voted for the best person who they could think of for the office - themselves - would take up a good part of the day.
