Ted Cruz WINS Louisiana, Donald Trump Threatens To Sue
Red State ^ | March 27, 2016 | Joe Cunningham

Posted on 03/27/2016 5:24:16 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Donald Trump barely won Louisiana’s primary. In fact, he lost the actual primary day turnout. A big win in early voting helped him keep the lead, but it was close. So close, in fact, that for all intents and purposes, it was a draw.

Enter Louisiana politics. Via my colleague streiff:

What is very clear is that if Donald Trump is not awarded the nomination on the first ballot, his bloc of delegates will melt away and his wins are not being capitalized upon because his campaign is essentially incompetent.

You see, when it came down to the actual election of the delegates, Cruz had more support in the room. This gives him an advantage over Trump, and one that plays into the narrative of the anti-Trump crowd: Trump isn’t likable enough to actually win. His campaign can’t organize well enough to actually get his delegates to the convention, and party leaders don’t like the guy enough to follow his lead.

Of course, being the loser he is, Donald Trump responds as only a loser can: he threatens to sue....

” Unbelievably painful.”
So is Cruz! There are different ways to treat them. My niece had surgery. That was awful! But if you use a sitz bath to drain it, and a strong anti-biotic cream, you might get by. I did.

So If Cruz wins are you going to vote for Hillary?

Hahahahahahahahaaaaa! Teddy Bares are so funny. Teddy cannot win without cheating. He took money from Goldman-Sachs with our reporting it. He blames Trump for everything wrong, but adopts almost ALL of Trump's policies and tries to tell people he was the originator. Teddy is a lying sleazy lawyer who must like to hump rats...

This "principled conservative Christian American" label (do I need the /Sarcasm tag?) sometimes gets in the way, so he sheds it in some cases, such as when he represents a guilty Communist Chinese against an American company (and lost the appeal). Teddy Bares are among themes naive I have been able to see on this board. They actually believe this Slimy Smarmy Lying Lawyer Teddy Bare is a good choice. NOT!

VOTE FOR THE WINNER. VOTE TRUMP!

Haha. 2D hasn’t pulled that BS with me yet. He can read my handle name and figure out what it means. Basically 2D is a Cruz shill who claims Trump is his #2 guy yet posts garbage trashing Trump all day. I call him out on it and he tells me why I’m wrong. 2D will have the opportunity real soon to back Trump as Ted is going down...no pun intended.

There’s really little doubt, Trump is one litigious SOB.

He's made that claim at his rallies.

Personally, I think graft and corruption should be allowed to prevail, don't you?

I like this. Trump is not going to taked any cr@p from the GOPe it he thinks he has been wronged by them.

In this case, it isn't the GOPe that is dealing cr@p to Trump. It's his own campaign's unfamiliarity with the particular state's rules of procedure. The Cruz organization took advantage of their deficiency...

There is no basis for a lawsuit. And threatening one probably harms Trump's standing with the rest of the Louisiana delegates.

Playing the bully may work for Trump in some venues. But it may be counter-productive when it comes to herding delegates.

But if your problem really was with that, you wouldn't have lied about my "defense" and made a mountain out of a molehill.

I see you are back to the old "Just call the guy a liar" defense. Not too many tools in your box, is there?

As an aside, does Trump pay you by the word or the post? I hope it's a lot. Good luck.

Why not? You misrepresented my post so you could basically call me a shameless liar, thus making you a shameless liar in the process.

“He took money from Goldman-Sachs with our reporting it.”

Not true.

“ALL of Trump’s policies and tries to tell people he was the originator.”

New one to me.

“Teddy is a lying sleazy lawyer who must like to hump rats...”

Like to see you prove that one.

“Communist Chinese against an American company”

Lawyers are not supposed to represent people you think are guilty? Are you saying that some people should not be allowed
council in America? Get real that’s what lawyers do.

“Slimy Smarmy Lying Lawyer Teddy Bare is a good choice.”

And Trump isn’t a Slimy Smarmy Lying real-estate developer
who in all honesty has rubbed elbows with some of the slimiest
creatures to walk the face of the earth?

Even if any of this were true Cruz would still be as good a
candidate as Trump.

Cruz has a history of conservative policy, sad to say Trump
does not.`

But when the rubber hits the road I’ll vote for anyone but
hillary or burnie.

Trump won Louisiana 124,819 41.44%

Cruz, Rafael Edward 113,947 37.83%

So we learn there’s many ways to steal votes in LA. They still have not reported their CD votes and are violating national party rules and recently added their own. Looks like a dishonest delegate count to change where Trump won by 11,000 votes. LOUISIANA CRUZ CHEATERS hope you choke on a crawdad.

Saturday 5 March 2016: All 46 of Louisiana’s delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today’s Presidential Primary. [Delegate Selection Rules Resolution 2015-10. RULES FOR CONVENING OF THE STATE CONVENTION TO ELECT DELEGATES TO THE 2016 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION.]

18 District delegates, 3 from each of the state’s 6 Congressional Districts, are proportionally allocated to Presidential contenders according to the primary vote in each Congressional District (rounded rules are not specified) [Rule 3. (d)].
28 (10 base at-large delegates plus 15 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC) statewide delegates are proportionally allocated to those Presidential contenders who receive 20% or more of the total statewide vote (as rounded by the Executive Committee). The allocation is in proportion to the total statewide vote NOT the total vote of those candidates receiving 20% or more of statewide vote. The remaining delegates are unbound. The rule says “Presidential candidates receiving more than 20% of the statewide vote ... will be allocated the same proportion, rounded by the Executive Committee ....” [Rule 4. (c)].
We do not have the vote by CD but according to the Louisiana Republican Party:
CD 1: Trump 1, Cruz 1, Rubio 1
CD 2: Trump 1, Cruz 1, Rubio 1
CD 3: Trump 1, Cruz 1, Rubio 1
CD 4: Trump 1, Cruz 2
CD 5: Trump 1, Cruz 1, Rubio 1
CD 6: Trump 1, Cruz 1, Rubio 1
Statewide: Trump 12, Cruz 11, Uncommitted 5.
Total: Trump 18, Cruz 18, Rubio 5, Uncommitted 5.

Delegates to the National Convention ... are bound ... on the first ballot only .... If a presidential candidate ends or suspends his/her candidacy, the designated delegates are no longer bound. [Rule 4. (f)].

Saturday 12 March 2016: The State Convention convenes in Baton Rouge to elect delegates to the Republican National Convention according to the results of the primary.

18 National Convention district delegates— 3 from each of the state’s 6 Congressional Districts are elected in the Congressional District meetings at the State Convention.
25 National Convention At-Large delegates are elected by the convention as a whole.
The 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Louisiana’s Republican Party, will attend the convention as pledged delegates by virtue of their position [Rule 4. (e]).

“There is much doubt that your statement is true”

Cruz has like about Trump’s healthcare stand, Trump’s stand on the 2nd amendment, Trump’s stand on the KKK, Trump’s stand on trade and the list goes on. Trump has put his postions on paper in black and white and Cruz still continues to lie to this very day.
