Carson: Cruz^s attitude towards what he did in Iowa reminds me of Hillary attitude towards Benghazi

Cruz should have held his campaign staff accountable for spreading bad information just like Hillary should have held State Department staff accountable for not stopping jihadi savages from murdering Americans.

Asked by Todd Starnes if he was satisfied with the way Sen. Cruz has handled himself as Christian over the incident in Iowa, Carson said, Well, let me put it this way, it is not the way that I would have handled it.

I would make sure that it did not happen again, Carson continued. And I would take corrective action. Not to take corrective action is tacitly saying it is okay, or it is sort of like, as Hillary Clinton said after Benghazi, what difference does it make.

Carson needs to take another break like he took in October. A month of selling books will make him feel better and he’ll stop pooping in other peoples’ beds.

“Much like the Trump supporters here on FR.
You all know it’s a non-story, but you’ll continue to dishonestly exploit it as long as it helps your guy.”

You Cruz people seem to think we have some sort of hold on voters. That is not true. We are not controlling the message. We may discuss it here but trust me the people in the nation are the ones that are keeping this story up. You are just pissed that Cruz got caught and his lack of integrity is there for all to see. Nixon was a novice compared to Cruz.

The media uses “selective enforcement” even more than the Obama administration. Anyone who doesn’t take that into account in this race is fooling themselves. With Obama’s citizenship issues the media acted like they couldn’t understand the significance of the legal arguments; they acted like significant discoveries that were proof of forgery were “digital artifacts”; all the way down the line everything was laughed off. Ted is not going to get the same type of treatment.

This is just the first example that comes to mind. There is a good chance that Cruz will face ongoing legal scrutiny over just the stuff from the Iowa caucus... the Carson stuff and the voter “violation” mailers. Idiots are going to come forward claiming that they were misled and this will bog down the Cruz campaign.

The team of experts Cruz put together thinks that they know how far they can push things and still get away with it. Ted is a lawyer and thinks he knows as well. I am not convinced that they can get away with anything at all in this contest. I think that Ted’s only real choice is to go 100% above board in the coming months. He is going to need an overwhelming force of boots on the ground everywhere and I am not convinced that outside of Iowa and a couple other strongholds that he has this.

Even then he is still going to get hammered. They are going to be everywhere looking for skeletons in the closet. They will find some handicapped gal or minority who went to the 3rd grade with Ted and will claim he verbally assaulted her. Teams of experts will be discussing this on every network and in every forum. Are verbal bullies ever really cured? Are verbal bullies worse than physical bullies? It is definitely not fair but it is the slanted table this game is played on. At some level even Cruz’s most committed followers know this.

No one died in Watergate either.

But it removed a sitting president.

Cruzadores can respond with "Nobody died at [insert name of place in Iowa here]" bumper sticker.

If you're trying to build a case against HRC comparing everything other politicians do to what she did undermines your argument and makes Benghazi seem not so bad.

Nobody died in Watergate.
It was a case of election fraud.
A sitting president, elected twice, was forced to resign.
Iowa is another case of election fraud.
Just saying.

Comparing to Benghazi was the article.
Not me.

It was NOT a case of election fraud at all!

The rest of your post is spot on, though.

Cruz kept his act going really well, re the Senatorial election. Heck, even I was taken in by him.

It was perfectly LEGAL for him to run for and be elected to the Senate, so I'm not quibbling about that election.

The Dems and even some pundits/members of the MSM are taking Hillary on now.

OTOH...they ALWAYS go after the GOPers. We've already seen them pile on many of our candidates; just not ALL of them. Ted isn't used to this and he doesn't appear to be able to handle it. We'll just have to see what will happen, but yes, some of what you posted will probably come to pass....soon.

the only person acting is that leftist trump. trump- proabortion supporter, amnesty supporter, wealth tax supporter and bank bailout bank nationalization supporter.

Cruz, never praised obama’s fiscal policies. Cruz, always pro-life. Cruz- never advocated for amnesty. Cruz, never fundraised for Dems.

You're so full of balogny, I bet that you have pink hair! :-)

Lets go back on Cruz too...shall we?

Teddy wants LOTS of money, LOTS of POWER, and to RULE THE WORLD!

Has he changed any? I doubt it; he'll do ANYTHING for money, and power; even LIE on FEDERAL papers that go to the FEC and run for an office he isn't eligible to hold. Power, BABY, that's the ticket!

trump has lots of money, lots of power and wants to rule the world

thats what you meant to say.

Cruz wants to undo the damage trump’s leftwing advocacy has done to the US

Cruz did in Iowa what it seems to me has been SOP political pranks in every election since, oh, probably 1788 or so.

And when caught, the candidates have faced the consequences since 1788 or so.

And what consequences might those be beyond mutual recrimination? How is that more noticeable than the noise of charge and countercharge? When someone posts the old joke- New Rule- Republicans vote Tuesday! Democrats vote Wednesday! the screaming from the Democrats is much worse than the crying of foul in the Carson-Cruz hassle. And, no, I am not defending my candidate. I am rapidly reaching the point that I do not have a dog in this fight although there are a couple of them that need to be kicked firmly back into their kennels. Kasich and Bush come to mind.
