A very good point many are missing.
Trump is winning with a third of the vote. As the field narrows he has to get about half of the supporters of those who drop out, at least he does by the time it becomes a two man race.
I don’t see the low ceiling, but it’s too early to do more than guess. We’ll know more about that after SC.
The GOPe is already saying they prefer Trump over Cruz because down-ticket RINOs can more easily ‘separate’ themselves from Trump than Cruz, so I think that will be the main factor then. IE, “Party voters” will vote for Trump.
And the GOPe would still prefer one of their own to best both Cruz and Trump.

Trump is crushing his opponents in every state poll, except in Iowa. I think that with Palin’s endorsement, he will win in Iowa, and then steamroll through most of the primaries and caucuses, hitting only speed bumps here and there.
Yeah, we've heard that five or fifty times.
Strangely, his supposed "ceiling" keeps getting higher.
Which means it isn't a ceiling.
That is my hope too. Those caucus states are always a suspense. Because very small % of voters show up to spend a couple of hours listening to boring lectures in the middle of Iowa winters.
If Trump + Cruz + (take your pick establishment candidate) remain in race after super Tuesday, the GOPe candidate could win.

Getting rid of IRS doesn’t forgive someone if they owe back taxes.
But I know it is hard for Trump ( pbuh ) supporter to understand that.
